I have been collecting parts most of the summer for this build and it has morphed a little from the original post title, but I thought I would just continue this post so the journey could be followed. Received the second lift steering axle, and the 3rd and 6th lift axles. Now have the cab and hood I want to use (see above). Have the front fender flares as well. Also have a donor kit to steal the rear drive air bag suspension . Did a mock-up to start building a frame length. I did learn that the frame size is larger than the road tractor, figure that out shortly. I will scratch build the logging crane I am still in pursuit of the engine, I ordered the Pakcar mX15 motor but have learned since that they use the Cummins X15. Not sure how they differ.

Thanks for looking at my builds. It’s always nice to have new builders join in the fun. The work space has been years in the making and it seems I can never get it organized enough. It bugs me when I can’t find parts or…….i have too many parts. Hey Jeff. it took me almost three hours to clean up the mess on my bench, evergreen plastic was laying everywhere, out of its sleeve, parts everywhere, but yes it will be a mess again shortly because I can’t seem to work in an organized fashion or something like that. -

Haven’t been using any model glue but been using a lot of wood glue. Finally build the stair railing (so the grandkids don’t fall off), taped the drywall and painted and refinished the steps coming up. Today I added to Craftsman toolboxes to my workbench, so I can better organize my stuff. The plastic roller bins just didn’t work well. soon as this stuff is finished and a little organization, I can finish the truck. -

It looks to be so, but I am not sure, the original price sticker says 25.00 bucks. I gave 20 bucks for each as a lot of truck stuff.

Right place at the right time. Local hobby shop received a large selection of kits from a family member, their dad had passed away. All the car and pickup kits had sold quickly but the semi kits remained, so I bought the remainder of the truck kits.
