  1. Really, looks good with that trailer.
  2. Some progress. Finally finished the steering up and it works (parts from the junk pile), all the chrome wheels are in the purple bath removing the crappy chrome. Starting to mount fenders but the air suspension is in the way, so custom aluminum locating rods being fabricated as I install. And….USPS has now lost the parts I ordered last week, so I am moving on with this build as is.
  3. Agree with Jeff that top picture is cool, and that green color is almost black. Cool colors
  4. Gonna be an outstanding build, like the polish idea, hope that works for you.
  5. I Have never ridden or driven an air front suspension. Drove old farm trucks when I was young, learned to drive a GMC crackerbox that rode like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, then a GMC General and a multitude of other trucks. I would imagine that the airbag mounted on top of the front axle would transmit a rough ride right to the frame, then driver.
  6. Will modify the front springs and build air bags for an air front suspension. Thanks Brian for sending that to me. This will allow me to adjust the ride height to match the rear lowered air springs
  7. Well, Ihave totally lost my mind. I have not been happy with my build, it became to industrial and not enough hot rod. So it has been sitting while I figure out what to do. I am starting over with the frame , ordered some parts custom wheels, fenders that look more hot rod, lowered rear suspension and will make another try at it.
  8. Well, you know where one is located now. If you change your mind.
  9. Jerry, I am not a cab over guy, I picked the Matchbox version up in a group buy, if you want it for a replacement, let me know.
  10. I have been away for a few days driving 7 hours down to see my daughter and her family for Christmas and then drive 7 hours back before a snow storm hits us later today. But, 14 hours of windshield time gives a model builder tooooo much time to think. I am not quite happy with the Autocar, sssooooo gonna do some mock-ups tomorrow after I get some sleep. Stay tuned. oh, by the way, I thought of a couple more builds……….Squirrel
  11. I just acquired the Matchbox version of this kit, I will be watching your build for tips.
  12. Oh, man, this is gonna be a cool build.
  13. Ooohhhh nooooo, Sean, don’t do that, you will send Jeff of the deep end with even more detail stuff 😂🤣🥴🤣😂🤣. That’s flipping awesome, never thought of gaskets.
  14. Oh wow, I have looked at that cab so many times and never pulled the trigger. So yup, gonna be watching this build.
  15. Scott, you got some serious scratch building skills, well done. Will be watching for tips to steal😁😃
  16. Love watching your builds
  17. Wow, never thought about a sign cutter for decals and they are making some really thin vinyl these days, hhhmmmmm.
  18. Just keep raising that bar, don’t ya Brian. Your skills, vision and creativity are off the charts.
  19. Kinda agree with you, loosing the Resto rod idea.
  20. Digging thru kits and parts I found these rear fenders, they kinda go with the front fenders.
  21. Jeez, I have 2.5 builds going on and it’s driving me nuts, then I think of a new build idea and then squirrel
  22. Outstanding, do you have a build post on that trailer. This would be a great add to my heavy hauler fleet. Man, you guys are raising the bar again
