  1. Adding nuts and bolts to the rear suspension. My old hands are not as steady as they once where. Deciding if I want to run airlines for the brakes and air bags. There is no end to the detail that can applied, where do you stop.
  2. How about a good headache rack and battery boxes for KW and Peterbilt.
  3. Thank you for running with the BRBO2022, it was fun for sure. Do you think there will be a BRBO2023? Not sure how much of a pain it is to do.
  4. Is voting open to the entire forum? If so, I did not know that. I assumed that just truck builders voted. This is my first year on the forum and had no expectations on the voting. Yes, I agree, there are some very skilled and talented builders (including yourself) in the big rig heavy equipment group and the skills just keep pushing the limits. There is so much scratch building and now if you don’t have a 3d printer, you will get left behind on what’s capable
  5. Thanks Roger, but your build was pretty tough to beat. I kinda broke down my vote into; fabrication, modifications, detailing, color/finish, weathering/wear and picture quality. I didn’t vote for myself.
  6. Playing around with the deck, getting closer to paint.
  7. Both, there is a trucking company down the street from my house and I have been stealing pictures and measurements, as well as internet research.
  8. Remaining cross members (40 pieces) installed between main frame rails. Air tanks near complete, jacks need some finish work.
  9. Nicely done, you have a whole different level of skills.
  10. Wow, what a project, gonna be following this one.
  11. Decks are fabricated, now on to finish work and make up air tanks.
  12. Try STSupply in Canada, typically has them in stock.
  13. Mike, here is the drop axle springs and axles from Auslow I am using on the drop deck trailer. I will be adding some detail work to these axles. Auslow makes several variations and triple axle spring setups as well. There are several companies that make these products. I included other air suspension axles that I keep in my inventory for truck/trailer builds.
  14. Thanks sir, gotta long way to go yet but I’m gaining
  15. Back working on the trailer. Axles/brakes together, need some detailing. One side of lower deck on but needs some finish work.
  16. Been playing around with this truck that started out as a rat rod, but I am changing the direction. Decided to find a twin turbo V8 Detroit diesel, use large singles on the rear and low profile tires on the front. Maybe the idea of diesel street rod.
  17. Thanks for posting this. I am stealing this for my big rig truck builds.
  18. Only completed three kits this past year. 50 Chevy farm truck (my grandfathers truck), the injection molding machine ( for a larger project for this year and my GMC General.
  19. Thank you, yes it is a heavy hauler, during my research, these trailers are built for 60 to 80 ton capacity in generally in three axle and 80 to 120 ton in four axle, higher weights can be achieved with a three axle Jeep. There are some monster heavy haul trailers out there in the real world that I would love to build if I knew more about them.
