Progress, built and installed the correct suspension in the rear, used correct front axle, stretched frame, tag air axle roughly installed. A quick mock-up.
Thanks James for all the info. Dug thru my stash and found a kit (purchased from Hobby Lobby on sale)with what looks to be the correct pieces I need to correct the suspension. Looked up all those tips and printed them and put in binder to get organized before I start the build.
Thanks James, doing some internet research, looks like there where several different suspensions offered. Also did not realize that there was a T600B as well. I will go thru these pages you sent.
Thanks for the input, that helps. I actually have the K100 I can steal from and a Detroit, not sure about the front suspension update. Was there ever a twin turbo Detroit offered from the factory in any truck?
My 2023 BRGB will be a Kenworth T600A (after much digging thru my stash and deliberating) on truck for my four axle trailer project. I will be adding the third tag axle from KFS, possible fenders for the rear axles from Keystone, frame stretch to accommodate third axle. Undecided if I will use fairings (have a couple different styles) or redo the front fenders (add lower extensions) and have exposed battery boxes and fuel tanks. Picture for inspiration
