  1. Need some help or advise. I purchased these photo etched marker lights and I struggled with cutting them free, I did buy a fixture for bending photo etched parts (that worked well), struggled handling the small parts and getting them located. I used super glue which limited my time to adjust the positioning. What glue do you use, what tools do you use to handle these very small parts? The three I installed are acceptable but not perfect
  2. Outstanding build, looks good with truck and trailer.
  3. Ooooh I like it, idea for a future build, rollers and a lift bed. Also thought of a flatbed with a crane to unload pallets of bricks/blocks.
  4. Few more details on the bed then I can move on to finish engine and under chassis exhaust.
  5. Nice build Alex, love those Ford truck builds.
  6. Steve: It looks out of scale, too big, but I am going with it. Brandon: I am using Balsa wood strips from Hobby Lobby
  7. Fantastic skills, will be following this build
  8. Not sure I am happy with the rear bumper.
  9. The fabrication work on the bed is near complete. Next final sand, primer and paint. The reassemble the wood floor and add all the lights.
  10. Outstanding build, nice detail.
  11. Jeff: where did you find the red/white reflective tape for your body? Been looking for some for my logging truck build.
  12. Hopefully some new truck kits but thanks for the heads up.
  13. The bed frame is fabricated, next is rear bumper/step, headache rack, figure out lights. Then on to paint and wood floor.
  14. Looking forward to see how you install the interior. Post a pic of your visors.
  15. the locating slots for the frame brackets were not square or parallel when I assembled the battery boxes. So I cut them apart, capped the ends and lengthened the boxes to clear stuff on the frame. I used the frame brackets from the steps that I was originally not going to use. Used plastic angle to make new steps that match, then added aluminum diamond plate for steps. Now the battery boxes are square and parallel.
  16. Wow, fantastic builds. Don’t give up. I have had two heart attacks, open heart surgery, then developed AFIB. Not as steady as I once was but each completed model sure feels good.
  17. not overly happy with my Molotow pen, maybe I need a new one. Used a Gundam black micro marker to get the rubber straps under the chrome tank straps.
