I can’t help you with your models, but there is a thread in the General Automotive Talk category just below called “Show Us Your Workbench” you can check out.

I finally got my desk set up and ready to start building. I’m sure It’ll evolve as I go, but I’m organized and comfortable enough now to get going. This small cabinet will be used for styrene and metal rod stock and other detailing supplies. And yes, I will get this drawer organized soon, lol. It’s for tape/masking sheets and styrene and metal sheet stock. The bottom drawer has my heat gun, a hair dryer and other misc. tools that won’t be used often, I just didn’t take a picture of it.

Looking really good! I like the color which is a good representation of the Regatta red that was available on the ‘37 Chevy. I have the AMT 37 Chevy Wildfire kit, which probably is pretty much the same kit as this. I plan to build it stock, too. That way I’ll have the hot rod parts to use later.

I just found this thread, this was a cool idea from the start! Turned out great, I really like all the custom work, especially the hood. I’m going store that idea in the ol memory banks for future reference. Kudos all around!

l will be interested to see what you do with this. I have one of these trucks in the stash as well as the one I built in about 1990 that is my only surviving build from my youth that I built for a friend who still had it after all this time.
