  1. Purchased my 1960 Corvette in 1983. In a previous life she was a stripper (drag strip racer). She has been a WIP for most of her life. It wasn't until 10-15 years ago I got her 99% complete. Still own the old gal and had her out yesterday for a hour cruise around the town. It's my escape machine and puts a smile back on my kisser when I've had a stressful day, which is now quite frequently since becoming a 24/7 caregiver for my 92 year old Dad.
  2. I too prefer Revell/Monogram but just can't pass up a bargain when I have a few of those Michaels coupons in my wallet... LOL
  3. Cool truck...

  5. One cool T-Bird!
  6. Just picked up two AMT kits of the 70 Chevelle at Michaels. Those 40% coupons are always handy for something. Your Chevelle is awesome!
  7. Very impressive work. Ever find anything of use on Google's 3DWarehouse (used to be Sketchup's 3D Warehouse)?
  8. 1961 Chevrolet Impala parked on Route 66. Digital illustration I created using Vue by e-onsoftware (3D rendering landscape app), a 3D model I purchased from Cornucopia3D (now out of business). Photoshop used for color correction and adding detail.
  9. Interesting article from Hot Rod Magazine, 1954 on building a Kurtis style chasis https://www.undiscoveredclassics.com/forgotten-fiberglass/build-yourself-a-kurtis-style-chassis-hot-rod-magazine-july-1954/
