  1. Well, that certainly answers my question, thanks everyone. Sacrilege it is ? Will definitely plan something out before starting anything as ambitious as what I'm brainstorming.
  2. Hello all. Trying to get some opinions on the Orange Hauler kit. Recently picked up some kit lots from eBay and amongst it is what appears to be a mostly, if not fully, complete Hauler. As I'm not familiar with this kit, other than being a Monogram exclusive, here's my question: Would it sacrilege to build a modded version or would it be better to trade it off to someone who wants an oob build? Didn't know if this was a sought after kit, i.e. unobtanium, so figured best to ask here. Definitely not using ebay to gauge things as instructions for this kit are listed from anywhere from $5-15. Thank you for your time.
  3. I may be wrong however, do believe stitchdup was referring to the " custom 37 Ford convertible". In reality it's a kit of Boyd Coddingtons Smoothster.
  4. My vote is for the top picture.
  5. All it needs is a scale Cobra Commander as a rider and it'd be all set. Looks great!
  6. Great job, awesome detailing of the interior. On my to-do list is the Knight Industries Three Thousand from the short lived Knight Rider revival. Specifically the pursuit mode in the Pilot film before they went all Ricky racer on the exterior. For simplicity sake it'll more than likely be in hot wheels 1/64th scale ?
  7. Reminds me of the XP-64 Corvette SS. Looks good, will be following this build.
  8. Far as intake is concerned I'd suggest the intake from a nascar kit. Newer releases had separate intake runners which look just like what you need.
  9. What all did you use to make that engine? It's a looker.
  10. That blue jeep would make an excellent Aussie SummerNats burn out vehicle.
  11. The Fast & Furious 67 Mustang has a poor attempt at a Nissan RB26DETT from an R34 Skyline. Only recent import power plant that's AMT -and- well done oob is the MK4 Supra.
  12. Looks like the one available in the Dodge Daytona FWD AMT kit.
  13. Excellent use of the Viper roll bar, really compliments the overall style.
  14. Nice custom work, did you use 67 Camaro headlight cover
  15. Looking good. Don't see many folks doing GTA based builds.
  16. Is that blower the one from the AMT 57 Chevy kit? I'm sure it's in several others however, that's the one I've had experience with. The blower drive cover was in the AMT 40 Delivery kit, pretty I've got it somewhere after picking up the 3 classics box set at Walmart many years ago.
  17. Looking good. Love the engine and blower combo, the body mods suit this shoe box well. Will follow to be sure not to miss any progress.
