Thank you Jeff! Nice of you to say that! Im quite satisfied myself! The mounting plate assembly on this truck is interesting and quite different from others! It slides on the model too by the way! 😊 -

Looks beautiful! Nice Combo with the flatbed! -
Hi everyone, I just finished this build so I'm posting it here for you to look at! It's a 1962 Marmon-Herrington and the real thing is said to be the only one left of 25 that were built in that time! That encouraged me to build it in 1/25. The owner is a man from Colorado and the pictures were published by 10-4 Magazine! I didn't go too deep into details and some parts may not be accurately reproduced but I think you can still recognize it! Here are some comparison pics first, then a few others! The parts are all printed except of course tires (round one AMT) and hand rails (brass rods), horns are out of the box, air and brake lines are 1.5mm tube. 3D-designs are all self-made. I began designing last November and began printing and building mid January. The color may not quite look the same on the pics but the comparison of the painted parts with the original pics was pretty close! Now I've said enough. Enjoy the pics! 😊

I corrected the hight of the air intake and added mud flaps. The passenger door stays closed from now on. Two hinges broke off and had to be glued back on which makes them stiff. Since the driver's door works and fits perfectly I don't really mind! Now it's just the question wether to do the wiring of the tail lights or not! I might do that some other time! For now I'd call it finished! Thanks everyone for watching and your great comments and compliments! I'll be posting this "Under Glass" shortly! -

I made the wipers and the hand rails, completed the mirror brackets, added the door handles and put the air lines in place! Kinda! I know, the air intake is too high and the fifth wheel still seems to be a bit too large but that's the way it is. The air intake could be corrected. Not such a problem. I'm also thinking about the tail light wiring. Im afraid though I don't have anymore hoses. I'll think about it! -

Just noticed that the wipers are still missing! Haven't even designed them yet! 🙈 I was so busy with the doors that I forgot other things! So it's back to the (virtual) drawing board! -

Steve, you'll be happy to hear that the new doors panels actually fit very well and will be installed today. I'm happy about it too! 😊 Pics will follow! I will also complete the mirror brackets and try to get the tiny door handles out of the support structure without breaking them. -

Some more wiring and plumbing done! Think it's enough for this truck. Now the inside door panels are next. Still thinking about the best solution! After that I guess I'll call it finished! -

Thanks Steve! You´re probably right, it would be a shame to waste them. I´ve been thinking about that too. Glad you like the plumbing. Still have to make the fuel lines, tail lights with wiring and of course the air lines. I´ll have to make those to tuck in at the rear of the cab cause otherwise you wouldn´t be able to tilt anymore but I guess that´s probably how it works in real too! -

Concerning the inside door panels I had another Idea today! I'll just paint the inside of the doors in beige like the interior and make some handles and window cranks to stick on. Might just be best solution! I'll give it a second thought and then you'll See the results soon! -

Some more progress: Did some wiring and plumbing! It's my first attempt so I hope the pros among you will over look the layman like implementation! Also made mirror brackets: -

Just took another look at the truck pics! Now I know what I did wrong! The dash should be completely out of range of the doors! Not gonna correct that anymore! I changed the design of the panels a bit. Not original, OK but useful! -

The doors work! Which brings me to the next little problem: The inside door panels! I actually forgot that the dash is quite close to the doors. Means I had to change the design of the doors panels a bit to make them fit. Otherwise the doors wouldn't have closed anymore! Work causes more work! That's the way it is! -
