  1. I forgot to post this so I'll just do that now! It shows most of the printed parts up to the time shortly before begin of assembly: The seats don't really fit this truck so meanwhile I designed new ones. The other ones will wait in the box for future projects!
  2. A bit of progress. Designed the panhards with brackets and fitted them in. I mounted the rear wheels. Mocked up engine and drive shaft. After having mocked up the front axle with wheels I realised that it was two low making the chassis rise up in front. So I reduced the space between axle and springs and now it's straight and levelled. Axle now glued back on.
  3. So cool Steve! Fantastic scratch work! 👍
  4. Found some good stuff on that! Now I also know how to fit in the shocks!
  5. Thanks very much! Could have thought of that too! 🙈 So now I can design it as far as possible! Just didn't get the idea cause there's no rod visible! Must be behind the rear cross bar!
  6. Thanks very much Scott! Now I have a clue what to look for! 👍
  7. Can anyone tell me what this big white bracket on the rear axle is? I couldn't find any pictures of it cause I didn't know what to look for! Is it on both rear axles? Same side or opposite? What's it for and what does the whole thing look like? I'm greatful for any infos!
  8. These are the 3D-drawings of the suspension with torsion bar and rear axles: I drew them as far as possible but not much is visible on the pics so I used pictures of similar suspensions to fill the gaps! Sort of like Jurassic Park for modelling! I designed new brake chambers that look more like the ones on this truck. Here's the assembled chassis: And a view of the new brake chambers.
  9. Thank you Ron! Glad you like it. Some parts I can only design when the assembly is almost finished and some parts such as shift tower and other non visible things I'll have to use my imagination!
  10. Thanks! Yes I did! I used the pictures I had and tried to design it as far as visible. Therefore surely not perfect but it does the job!
  11. I'm back! Had a flu and couldn't even think of the bench! Now I'm at least feeling better. Not over the hill completely but no more fever. Couldn't wait to get back to the bench and did a little pre-assembly while I reactivated my printer to produce further parts! Front axle with brake drums: Rear suspension with axles: That's it for now. Chassis is in construction.
  12. Looks awesome! Great build becoming greater everyday! 👍
  13. I meant the parts or did I get that wrong that they were 3D printed? Sorry If I did!
  14. I'm sure those are the same high quality as this build! Maybe I should take a look at some of your threads? 😊
  15. Looks really cool! The nice thing about printing is that you can choose any size or scale you want.
  16. A really nice Pete! Thanks for sharing!
  17. Looks really nice! That narrow nose KW is awesome!
  18. Thanks very much! The tires and rims are printed. Glad you like them!
  19. Too bad you're not planning further trucks! You're doing a great job on this one!
  20. OMG! Steve, that's marvellous!
  21. Looking pretty good! Concerning the tires, I think they're terrible! I built a few of those level 3 kits. The tires are hard and warped. Meanwhile I've exchanged rims and tires on all of them! Makes the difference!
  22. Got the first parts printed. Cab front and rear. Next are doors and a few other parts that will be painted in body color. The chassis and bumper, engine, roof and interior will be printed in white.
  23. Thanks for the explanation! I appreciate it! 😊
