  1. Merry Christmas to you Gary and to all those here in the forum! 🎄🧑‍🎄
  2. Wow, we're in to a great build it seems! I'll be watching! Do they actually haul freight across the country with such lowered trucks? I thought they were just show trucks or are they levelable?
  3. Thanks for that info! And yes, that is one nice Mack machine!
  4. Jeff, those look great! I especially love the Autocar but they're all just awesome!
  5. Looks terrific! Never seen a single axle log trailer before! Not that I've seen that many in North America but they all had twin or tri axle trailers! Looks really cool!
  6. Beautiful Ford! Great job!
  7. Looks nice! Seeing that engine remembers me that I wanted to ask the truck pros here something: Did the old Macks actually sometimes have gold colored engines? I'm asking because I've seen it a couple of times already on Mack models and even before that I painted the engine of my "Love Machine" Cruiserliner that way. Got a real sh..storm on that in a German modelling forum! They said it looks crazy and weird and that color doesn't belong on a truck engine! Just curious if it's an authentic Mack thing or if I'm just not the only one who thinks it looks cool! Sorry for this long post in your thread but I just had to ask!
  8. Nice progress! Looks really good! 👍
  9. Thanks! I've made that mistake before, that's why I wasn't sure!
  10. That's the way I do it too. I use Fusion360 for designing and virtual mock-ups. I just create a new file with the central item, like a chassis, then I transfer all the parts I need into that file and put them together! Here's an example! It's my recently built tanker trailer: VID_20241114_175233~2.mp4 I did change a few details but it's more or less the way I built it. Was ist OK to post this here? Didn't want to hijack. I understood this thread as the one to post items to 3D printing! If I was wrong, I appologize!
  11. Thanks very much Ron! Sorry it took me so long to answer! 😊
  12. Since I posted this one in "WIP" I might as well complete this thread with a last pic of the new bumper! I am, by the way, aware of the fact that not all details are authentic for a tanker truck such as the high stacks for example. Still I will leave it that way cause that's the way I imagined it before I started! Thanks all again for following and for your great feedback. Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄🧑‍🎄
  13. Looks beautiful! Nice idea and the wooden is awesome!
  14. Great idea with the icicles! Makes it even more authentic! Looks great!
  15. If that's roughly built I can't wait to see it finished! Looks perfect to me already! Awesome build, Gary!
  16. Oh yes, ver impressive! Very professional approached to several items! Very fun to watch!
  17. Interesting build! Never seen that before either. I'm watching!
  18. I know, it's already posted in "Under Glass" but it just wouldn't let me go that I had a different bumper in mind! So I made one! Since the printed one wasn't good I first thought about styrene but then I realized that I have 0.5 mm aluminium sheet to work with. What do you think? I even put a dent in it to make it look a bit more realistic! I deliberately didn't chrome it cause I like the look of the aluminium! Fits the sun visor!
  19. I'll bring the beer! 🍺 🍺 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
  20. That will be another great build Ron! I'm in! 👍
  21. Looks really nice! Where's the checker plate from? Looks great!
  22. Get well soon! 👍 Enjoy that wonderful friendship! 😊
  23. Really beautiful trucks! Love that Freightliner!
  24. Now my work space is cleared and ready for my next project! I'll be building my show case now and hope I can begin "showing off" some models in it soon! I guess sometime around end of January I can slowly start building the next truck! Don't know how long it will take to get the glass doors and shelves done. I'm having those made by a company near by!
