Looks pretty good to me too Steve! I think the length is Just fine! Of course it's your build and your vision! Keep going! -

Hope you don't have to walk the line with it! 😄 Looks really good! 👍 -
Looks perfect Steve! A classic American truck. The cab reduction looks just great. Even when you know it was shortened and "de-aerodyned" you can't see it. Very precise and clean job!

Maybe they put some sort of long cage box on it to transport the cotton? -

Wow! I must learn this plumbing stuff! Especially which line goes where. Just amazing what it does to the authenticity of an engine and the whole truck. -

At first sight it looks like they put the cab on the wrong way! With that long chassis you could make a steel or lumber truck out of it. -
Jeff, Im sure this is gonna be far more than mediocre! Can't wait to see this grow! Hope you guys left one seat vacant in the front row?

A cabover with a set back front axle? Don't think I've ever seen that before! Looks interesting! -

Thanks very much Guys! Actually yes, I have thought about that epoxy stuff. I'll have to gather some more information about it. Saw some tutorials about it but they don't give you much info on the application itself and If the stuff smells, ...! The idea is in fact interesting though! Thanks for the suggestion. -

I did think about making wider rims but since the axle was a bit wider (it's the one I had exchanged on my K100 build cause it was too wide) the wheels would have been too far outside the fenders. I tried out a few different variations and even printed a few to try it out but this was the best solution! Anyway, I again learned something new and I thank you for the English lesson! 😄 -

OK, thanks! Actually I thought about putting wider tires on the front axle but they wouldn't have fit. I'm glad I was able to put the Revell soft rubber tires on. -

Guess I can call the truck finished! I decided to post it "under glass" when the trailer is finished too and so the whole rig! -

Wow, thanks! I do try to design parts so the printing result is as good as possible but the printing lines still come out and are hard to hide. I may actually do one or the other buyable kit again and pimp it with styrene! -
The Same but a “little “ different….

Jeff, you created a masterpiece! You had a vision and never let it slide away till you reached your goal! It's not just getting this kit together straight but you turned it into a rare and realistic looking truck model! Thanks for sharing it with us! -

Thanks very much Jeff! I'm always thankful for input from experienced truckers! What do you mean by floats? I don't know the expression referring to trucks! Sorry, but I'm still just a "Kraut"! 😊 -

Thanks very much! I just looked for corporate signs that fit the color, no affinity to Exxon. The decals are selfmade. Taken out of the internet printed on white decal paper. -

A competition? Wow! I once made second in a model competition of southern Germany with my K100 VIT! I was so proud! I wish you all the luck you can get! 🍀🍀🍀🍀 (Not that you need luck with your skills but maybe it helps)! -

Thanks guys! Yes, there will be a trailer! I think I posted a little video of the 3D design! Have to build my show case first though, otherwise there's no space for a trailer! The truck won't take additional space cause it was there before and was just "improved"!
