  1. I would love to have one of those myself. I have an 87 F-1504x4, with that exact engine & a manual transmission. Looking to build a replica.
  2. Yeah, I can attest to the U-Haul.com moving experience. Not a good day for me.
  3. Wow, that's amazing! I never would have thought about making this kit a surf wagon. Killer paint!
  4. Miami Vice all the way! Very realistic and beautiful build.
  5. That's a beautiful build ! I especially love the green paint. I have one of these in my stash, might have to dig it out after seeing yours.
  6. Beautiful paint, and color combination! I was originally going to comment that you could shave the mounting pins for the front suspension, but looking at pic #2, you can see a gap between the body & frame. That makes me agree with the previous comments about the interior tub/firewall area.
  7. Very nice! Being from northern Ohio, I saw some really nice cars just rot away. So I haven't been able to bring myself to reproduce that in one of my builds, but I may have to try my hand at one (using yours as inspiration). I think it's way more difficult to produce a convincing weathered look, than a bright shiny new looking build.
  8. I love your color combination on this ! I've always loved the Edsels, and your beautiful build makes me want to do another one (Restomod this time?).
  9. I love the older Z's! Great choice on the color, and a beautiful build too!
  10. Great looking build! I love the Moebius kits.
  11. Two coats of Tamiya clear over Tamiya light green pearl & Tamiya white pearl. I'm loving how this is turning out.
  12. Yes Claude. Fortunately I have a very understanding wife, who not only tolerates our hobby (and the "accumulation" of unbuilt kits that goes along with it), she actually enjoys going along with me to shows! She has also bought me my two most expensive "hobby" items for Christmas: my paint booth, and air compressor (with air brush accessories).
  13. The amount of detail you crammed into this is really amazing!
  14. Beautiful work. I've always loved these trucks. My decals weren't in the best shape. I wish I could have found a reproduction sheet.
  15. I don't think it's too much, lol. Way more than I've ever put into one model kit. Even my contest entries aren't that detailed.
  16. That is sweet! Love the paint color and finish. You may have inspired me to work on mine. I have a rebuilder, and a sealed kit.
  17. Beautiful build, on a not so great kit. I love the paint! I have a lot of that craft paint on hand myself, and a brand new airbrush & compressor.
  18. I love these old 70's vans! After looking at your awesome build, I may have to finally pull the trigger and buy one.
  19. Everything about this truck looks amazing!
  20. I agree. The 64 would probably be a better fit.
