The top is actually pearl white. I'm having trouble choosing the interior color. Here are the two options: (my wife already eliminated light gray). If green, it will be two tone with white. Tan will be accented with other shades of tan/brown. other shades of tan/brown.

My take on the Foose truck.

I don't have a picture, but I have an MPC '79 Monte Carlo "Wheeler Dealer" kit

Mostly box stock. The rollback bed was purchased from BCS Models.com (He now has a website. I bought mine from him through E-Bay). I added chains & a "hook" from the jewelry section at Michael's. The winch and jerry cans are 3d resin prints from VCG resins. Photo-etch grille and emblems from Model Roundup. Mud flaps also from Model Roundup, but the hangers are scratch built from coffee straws, with a kit supplied decal. Toolboxes are resin cast items bought at a show from Nibor's (garage/hobby shop?? Sorry,can't remember the name of his business). The tool box brackets are scratch built from Plastruct ("L") corner pieces. I also purchased a decal sheet from Round 2 AMT Great Dane trailer kit, to get the red and white reflective tape for the side.

Yeah, sorry I missed you. I will definitely be at the CKM Show in August.For several years, it was the only show I attended (because I lived in Clemmons). I've been tossing around the idea of getting a table, and selling off some of my duplicates. But I would only buy more kits, lol. Plus I like to enter some of my builds, and look around & socialize. I could ask my wife to man the table, but she's not always available to go with me.

I recommend Etsy. There's a lot of 3d/ resin shops on there with farm jacks,winches, jerry cans. I would also look at VCG Resins (he acquired either Olson brothers or Bollide Model Works- can't remember which).

I love two-tone tri-fives! All of mine are white and another color. The molded side trim makes for an easier separation of colors. I love the diamond dust as a primer, especially for metallic paints. I use the classic white Testors. It sprays good, lays down nice, and dries quickly because it's a laquer. I've had bleed through with the Tamiya orange tape, so blue painter's tape is always used with it. Remember to always paint the lighter color first. You can paint the whole car with the light color, without masking off the two-tone, but it could affect the second color (like in my case by using white).

I love this one! The red is perfect, in my opinion. This is a great kit. My granddaughter and I worked on it together (she was 8 or 9 at the time), so naturally it had to be pink. I picked up the Pace Car version at a recent show, and also bought those wheels (not for this build though). Your color choices work beautifully together!

Love it! I had an 81 model. It was turd brown, with a tan interior and 4 speed. My late wife loved driving it, as much as I did.
