  1. Wow, that looks like it was partially submerged, with the patina it has. That's next level stuff!
  2. Very cool!
  3. That is amazing! Excellent work on the rust & weathering.
  4. Beautiful "bird"! I love the extra details (especially the cassettes).
  5. Excellent work! This type of build is definitely a lot more work than a shiny "show car" is. Great job!
  6. That is amazing! The paint, and all the detail is incredible.
  7. Very nice! I can't wait to see the real truck. I love all the added detail, especially the interior floor!
  8. Excellent restoration! It's always nice to see an old build get a refresh.
  9. That looks great! I really like the green.
  10. That is amazing! I've always loved these cars, they rank right up there with the Countach, as far as 80's poster material goes. Plus there was one featured in "Pretty Woman".
  11. That is beautiful! I'm really diggin' the green, it's perfect for a Beetle. This makes me want to break out my Revell Beetle convertible, and get started on it.
  12. Excellent work! I love a well-done restoration. To me, it's even more satisfying than building a new kit.

That's really cool. I love all of your extra details!
  14. That's probably my favorite Ferrari. I love your build it really looks good in blue!
  15. That is beautiful! The blue is amazing, and the interior is very well done. What's on the seats that give them that "texture"?
  16. Beautiful build! That's a shade of green I've never seen on a Mustang before.
  17. Pretty sweet!
  18. That looks amazing! The color combination is awesome. I think after 70, the Mustang got really ugly (especially base model Mach 1s), but the "Boss" edition is gorgeous.
  19. There has to be some clubs in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem area of NC. If so, we need to reach out to one another and let our presence be known. Not only for the future of our hobby, but possibly for fellowship, and maybe combining our resources and talents to possibly put on an event of some kind. I know it's a lot of work to hold a contest/swap meet (that's why most clubs only do one a year- Major props to the Fast Traxx & IPMS Race City folks for doing two events per year). We have lost a few NC events and have to drive to SC or VA to attend a show. I'm sure that as creative as us modelers are, we can figure something out.
  20. That is a great idea to repurpose old trophies! The only cost would be engraving or etching the new information (brilliant)! I'm trying to put together a contest/swap meet in my area of NC, since we're losing events (at an alarming rate). Fortunately, there's a local IPMS chapter that has agreed to revive their event beginning next year. Hopefully I can convince some local clubs to put something together.
  21. That is amazing! Beautiful paint and great looking whels.
  22. That is looking amazing so far! The tip about the liquid cement is going to be useful down the road, for sure! Removing the extra moldings looks tedious, especially the "XLT part on the fender emblems.
