  3. nice job.
  4. fabulous!
  5. I am moving so slow on this because of life. But here is an update on the kit. I tried to use The Last Detail black side stripes but they fell apart as I took them from the water. Just too old I guess so I used the kits stripes but went with the white because of the carrying paper and the high gloss on the black just stands out so much. I think the white looks okay or even good. I hope to have this finished by the end of the week. Thanks for looking
  6. Very good build. That bare metal foil job looks excellent!
  7. That is a very nice build.
  8. Great job.
  9. Great job and it goes without saying you don't see those everyday,
  10. Great job. I actually like the stripe delete
  11. It would have been nice to be able to do a conversion to a Super Bee. Maybe somebody will make a resin conversion, though that rear panel might be a challenge.
  12. Great job on this 68.
  13. So I am going to be gluing hood scoops on my 71 Demon kit and I have a black out decal on the hood. What glue should i use that won't destroy the decal and hold the scoops on ? Thanks
  14. Looking very good. I think I built this kit back in 1974. I think it might have been the coupe.
  15. Randy I know you told me this before but can you tell me how you did your grill. I am doing mine right now and not really sure how to best do the outline around the area that the parking lights are in. I realized last night that there is no line definition on the grill surrounds. Thanks Dave
  16. Other than Tim Boyd's great build I actually haven't seen another build of this 63 on our forum. Anyone out there building it?
  17. Looks good. I am glad I am not building that!!! Lol.
  18. Yes great job
  19. Well my update after the weekend. I feel like I am getting the clear polished out and looking good. Probably looks as good as a 71 paint would look. Lol. I applied the Fred Cady decal Sunday. It needs a touch up in a few places but after 1.5 hours of working it I think it looks good. I think it looks better than the hood decal that comes with the kit. It is less glossy and it is the correct pattern. Being a decal that was made what maybe 15-20 years ago it didn't come apart too awfully bad. The soft set was a little rough on it as I moved the decal around especially those two raised areas on the hood of the Demon.
  20. Beautiful build!
  21. I notice the MCW is lacquer and the Scale Finishes is enamel. What do you prefer to work with?
  22. Randy nice looking Firebird. I like the Italian Red on it. Great build.
