  1. Looking very good. I think I built this kit back in 1974. I think it might have been the coupe.
  2. Randy I know you told me this before but can you tell me how you did your grill. I am doing mine right now and not really sure how to best do the outline around the area that the parking lights are in. I realized last night that there is no line definition on the grill surrounds. Thanks Dave
  3. Other than Tim Boyd's great build I actually haven't seen another build of this 63 on our forum. Anyone out there building it?
  4. Looks good. I am glad I am not building that!!! Lol.
  5. Yes great job
  6. Well my update after the weekend. I feel like I am getting the clear polished out and looking good. Probably looks as good as a 71 paint would look. Lol. I applied the Fred Cady decal Sunday. It needs a touch up in a few places but after 1.5 hours of working it I think it looks good. I think it looks better than the hood decal that comes with the kit. It is less glossy and it is the correct pattern. Being a decal that was made what maybe 15-20 years ago it didn't come apart too awfully bad. The soft set was a little rough on it as I moved the decal around especially those two raised areas on the hood of the Demon.
  7. Beautiful build!
  8. I notice the MCW is lacquer and the Scale Finishes is enamel. What do you prefer to work with?
  9. Randy nice looking Firebird. I like the Italian Red on it. Great build.
  10. Nice build Michelle
  11. I have seen a few people use the engine out of the 71 Duster kit which is a much nicer 340. I was tempted to use it but decided to do this build pretty stock.
  12. I actually thought about that and wondered if anyone had success doing that. I also have a set of The Last Detail decals too.
  13. Great build.
  14. Some updated pictures. I have cleared the MCW paints Gunmetal 71 color and hoping to polish out the clear this week. I am using for the first time Mr Super Klear clear coat and I do like it. Doesn't seem to orange peel as much as TS13 Tamiya clear. This kit really goes together well, maybe a little simple and a very undersized engine but a nice kit.
  15. Looks good and great job.
  16. Very nice job. I don't think I have ever seen one finished.
  17. Mine is apparently shipped from Auto World.
  18. That looks beautiful. Such a nice job.
  19. Beautiful model. Very impressive work.
  20. Awesome builds. Makes me want to build one. I have the 69 kit but not the 68.
  21. Very nice job
  22. Looking really good.
