I am basically a model car only builder but I have a passion for the SOHC bikes. I have both a CB350 four and a CB500 four but there are no kits of my bikes. So... I am building this new 1:12 scale Aoshima kit. I think it was just released. I tried to build the MPC 1/8 CB750 years ago and gave up on it. This kit everything fits well except the tubing for brake lines, spark plug wires etc. I trying to figure something else out. Fun kit so far.

I have a 67 R/T 1:1 and I have built a few Revell kits of the car. You are right about the bodies especially the rear quarters and the front wheel arches are incorrect. They still build up to be pretty nice kits though and they go together fairly well. Below is a picture of mine. I think the 67 GTX and the R/T's were such classic designs. I have had a few over the years and seem to be better built cars then the later B bodies.

Nice job so far. I really like the 72's. I remember a few years ago I think Missing Link Resin did a 72 non fold over headlight grill for the AMT 71 Charger for a conversion. BTW who is VCG that the 340 is from?

This has to be one of the biggest auto kit releases in the US in years. I built it in 1971 and to think I got rid of that kit! -

When I was like 14 I read The Red Car by Don Standford and I have been in love with the TC since then. My grandson who is now 21 has read the book at least twice and I have read it maybe like 3-4 times. I have yet to build any of the TC kits out there. This is such a nice build. You really did a great job.

Nice job. I seldom see those built and think wow I should get mine out and build it. This motivates me!

Great job on that rear bumper and taillight assembly! Congratulations on very nice build and thanks for posting all of that.
-
Wait how is it you have what appears to be a correct rear bumper tailight assembly? Doesn't the kit have the wrong (too long) taillights? Yours look correct> t

Wow ! Nice and how many first generation Firebirds do you see on here!

Great looking build. The Fairlane would be a midsize car so overall width and length would be different.

Nice job so far

Looks amazing. The rear quarters are weird on the R/T kit. I just finished one but overall it is such a nice kit to build. Your body looks right on I have to say.
