Revell Snap-Tite 63 Corvette Transformation
Rattlecan Dan replied to StokeModels's topic in Model Cars
That's amazing! Absolutely gorgeous. I could go on and on with praise and superlatives, but that is just masterful modeling. And tremendous photo realism to boot! Thanks for posting and showing the ultimate possibility of scale modeling. -
Another Rattlecan MPC modified in the works.

Thanks for viewing. The frame and body are OOB MPC 36 Wild One Chevy. Both massaged to meet the picture I'm working from. -
Great-looking build so far.

Thanks. The wheels are from Ron Coon Resins. (Great variety and selections). I will replace the kit Goodyears with some Plastic Performance Parts Hoosiers at completion. -
Nice job! That rescue ought to get there quick!

I use a small birthday candle. Works pretty well on a variety of parts no matter how small. Snip off the wick and good to go.

Am going to attempt to build a "Tribute Car" built by Charlie Lima. To pay homage to a modified great Steady Eddie Flemke. The 2X. (Think it's going to take a while). Hope you will like it. Thanks for looking in.

Jeremy, love your intention and I'm sure dad will like it even if it's pink or yellow. But the midnight blue (in my humble opinion) should not be metallic. I'm nearly 80 myself, and old school thinking that non-metallic carbon blue is what he would dig. And the old souped-up flatheads moved out pretty good. In the old days just plain black rims were the hot look. But for sure, whatever you give him will be accepted with a smile and a tear. Good Luck. Added some pics for thought.
