  1. Thanks a bunch! Customs/Kustoms were my first major repertoire when competition building for the junior class in my pre-teens.
  2. Thanks so much for noticing those details! I've been making a point to replicated the differing textures/finishes that the real rides have.... Now this confirms I've hit my mark!
  3. Thanks so much! That was inspired by a build that Ferby Miguel was doing of (IIRC) a 1:1 Elky kustom.... It was just such a slick idea I asked him if I could borrow it.
  4. Thanks so much! I try to stay diversified in my subjects... Keeps the joints well-oiled. LOL
  5. Thank you for the kind words! Much appreciated!
  6. Thank you sir!
  7. Thanks so much! It is actually a factory color, called "Persian Sand"
  8. I normally move at a snail’s pace when it comes to building, but the annual 24-Hour Build-Off really lit a fire under my backside and I actually got a handful completed, -TOTALLY out of character for me! (Usually it’s one done every handful of years)…. But without further ado, here they are:
  9. Thanks again everybody!
  10. Another STUNNING Hot Rod build..... Eye candy galore!! Can't wait to see more!
  11. House of Kolor Kandy Koncentrate. And Thank You! ???
  12. Thanks a ton for the compliments and kind words folks! I appreciate it!
  13. WOW thanks so much for that consideration! By all means, go right ahead! ???
  14. That one heckuva kit mash! Nice clean work, LOVE the end result!
  15. WOW that is some knock-out custom work!! Everything blended together with obvious loving care. Perfect color choice IMO. Beautiful!
  16. Did this as a quick shelf build, my rendition of AMT’s ‘65 GTO. I utilized the custom top option as well as the custom front lower pan, removed the split in the grille and filled-in the headlight area, resulting in what strongly resembles a Riviera from the same year. I de-chromed, shaved off the back-up lights, and mellowed-out the rear bumper to better-harmonize with the aforementioned front pan. The taillight was converted to a strip unit, and mesh fills in the grille opening. The body was shot in Candy Brandywine over Gold Pearl, and other than carpeting the floor, everything else was simply detail-painted. This is something that could have easily been seen at the ‘64-‘65 World’s Fair had Pontiac actually done it, hence the title of this thread and the motivation behind the build. Enjoy!
  17. Beautiful period perfect build! I’m a fan of the white top myself
  18. Thank you!….Yessir, it is. There were ZERO issues with the build-up of this. Minimum flash/cleanup, and fitment was great. The only part that had any issue was the interior cover was a bit warped, but gentle hand-twisting brought it back and it fit just fine.
  19. Superb build! LOVE the colors!
  20. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing this at the GSL, you did an outstanding job on it!
  21. So crisp and cleanly built, I could swear I was looking at the real thing!
