  1. Wow Tom, high praise indeed! It's nowhere near one of Harry's builds but I like to think he would have enjoyed the subject. Thanks Eric. Those headlight brackets are a bear, I didn't mount them to the frame in the order the instructions said but at the end and had a real hard time. They still don't quite line up. I must say this is a very challenging kit, and satisfying once it's completed. I built the runabout and still have the Touring body in the stash.
  2. Outstanding replica! I love the colors, neat and clean paint and foil. I have to get one of these.
  3. My latest completion. These ICM kits are not for the faint of heart, but they have great details and scale appearance. I've had this one on the bench since January and finally got all the little brass bits attached. Just don't breathe on it too hard! Comments welcome, thanks for looking.
  4. Neat, clean work, great color choices. Were flatheads that color in '53? Did those spotlights come in the kit? I really like this!
  5. Great renditions of both cars, I'm partial to the convertible. Well done.
  6. Me too! Daddy was a car guy for sure, nice work.
  7. Very nice work. All I can think of when I see one of these is the Zagruder film
  8. I love it, perfect color scheme and the Stingray bikes really set the mood! Well done.
  9. I'm blown away by some of the lists here, I don't know how you could keep track of that many builds. I have limited myself to 3 on the bench at any one time, I won't start another until one of those 3 is finished. On the bench now: 1914 Model T fire car (ICM) 1967 Corvette coupe (Monogram) 1968 Chevelle hardtop (AMT)
  10. Don't see many of these, in real life or scale! Nice work.
  11. Great looking Porsches. I've always liked the lines of the 917.
  12. Sweet hot rod! Color, stance, engine, wheel/tire combo, everything is just right.
  13. That engine bay is just amazing, and all your body work has paid off in spades. Coming down the home stretch, I'm sure Harry is watching
  14. Great model! What did you use for the base kit?
  15. Really nice! I wish mine had come out as well.
  16. Great job on a not-so-easy kit. A true icon of Indycar history.
  17. Great job on the paint and that dash. Well done.
  18. I like it! Nicely done.
  19. That makes for a good looking car, well done. Maybe Kyle could run that sponsor so he could shoot himself in the foot more often
  20. Looking good. I'm following this with interest.
  21. "Side note - any guess how fast some company will release a kit of Sato's car?" My guess is not any time soon. Indy cars seem to sell about as well as NASCARs these days . Great race however, and glad no one was seriously injured in that crash.
  22. Please add another Wow! Outstanding modeling of a great subject.
  23. Really nice model, very well done.
  24. Very cool!
  25. That is a beauty and a great tribute. Well done.
