  1. Great looking model, nice clean build. I like it a lot, good to see some F1 cars on here.
  2. Looks good in orange!
  3. Beautiful paint work and photography!
  4. I really like your treatment on the vinyl roof, very convincing. Sharp model.
  5. Fun fun fun. Nice work.
  6. Cut it out Rich, you're going to lose interest in the factory stock builds ! Very nice work.
  7. Yes it's the MPC kit. The chrome tree had some issues, I repainted the inside of the headlights but missed the inside of the driving (?) light on the dash. The only thing I'm not happy about is the fit of the firewall to the back of the hood, otherwise I'm pleased. Chris, I'm flattered, copy any pics you wish! Thanks everyone for the kind comments.
  8. Finished this one up last night. I'm really getting into these brass era cars. This is a really nice kit that goes together well. I used pinstriping tape for the fenders as the decals were too brittle. Searched Google for images and found quite a few with the apple green engine, so that's what I went with. Comments welcome, thanks for looking!
  9. It's "Topgun" on a racetrack, but I still love it. It didn't live up to the hype at the time but then few do. I think Grand Prix was an awesome film, saw it when it first came out.
  10. Very nice! I love the subtle weathering around the gas filler and overflow vent, and the lettering on the tires is very convincing. The "Days of Blunder" cars are seldom seen done this well
  11. I like them both, nice conversions.
  12. That's nice. Fireball is another we lost too soon, nice tribute.
  13. Interesting concept, looks like the antique mahogany boats that the rich and famous owned back in those days. Nice work.
  14. Another nice piece from your bench Rich! I'm guessing there weren't many Dodges with continental kits back in the day, but it looks good anyway!
  15. Another story..... http://www.computerworld.com/article/2840555/hp-embraces-blended-reality-dives-into-3d-printing.html#tk.CTWNLE_nlt_pm_2014-10-29
  16. Impressive start! That engine is very nice.
  17. What, Rich does a custom!? Very tasty, love the decal on the continental spare.
  18. Nice clean build. Great job.
  19. That is cool! The styling on these vintage Mopars was something else.
  20. Great model! What scale is that? The engine and transaxle are very impressive, as well as the dash.
  21. Two great choices, looking forward to the builds. Jr. finally coming into his own this year and Chase is a sure future star.
  22. My favorite generation of Vette, very nice work.
  23. Great looking model, very realistic finishes as others have noted. Long live the swamp rat!
  24. Great start, love those Hoosiers!
  25. Great model of a great driver! We watched Jean-Paul race weekly up here in VT at Thunder Road against the likes of Chuck Bown, Robby Crouch, Dick McCabe, Bobby and Beaver Dragon, Ricky Craven, Dave Dion, Kevin LePage, Randy LaJoie, and Claude LeClerc, Thank you for the memory jog!
