  1. Nice build John. I've got a Rose's Buick as well but the decals haven't aged well.
  2. Very convincing. Love the color.
  3. Great job on 'ol Smut. I always wondered about that nickname, Ken Squire never failed to use it. Love the car.
  4. Nice car. Always liked this body style of Buick. Tommy Ellis was an underrated driver for sure, I saw him at NH as well, attended the first GN race on the 'new' track in 1990.
  5. Nice car. Love the Hoosiers.
  6. Great job. Petty always had nice looking cars, you captured the look well.
  7. You can check out my recent WIP for a similar car, Cale's Holly Farms Laguna here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=54419 I used Monogram 1/24 wheels/tires to fill the wheelwells a little more.
  8. Another nice, clean build John. Bobby is one of my all time favorites. Great decal work. Those Buicks were the hot ticket in the early 80's with the slope nose for aero, although by today's standards they look like bricks .
  9. Nice job. Silver and black are both tough 'colors', you nailed it.
  10. Very nice build. Back with a vengeance!
  11. Sweet. Great job.
  12. hard to find people capable of PROPERLY driving stick This is the sad part to me. My 67 Chevy C10 has a 250/3ott.
  13. I think it's great we have a direct pipeline to the King on here, way to go Jacen. I'm loving all the interest in the older NASCARS generated by the Hornet and now the 300. Looking forward to the Revell '50 Olds as well. Keep 'em coming.
  14. Great job. I always loved the paint scheme on this car. You did an awesome job.
  15. Great job. Are the grilles on front decals or....? I think Brett was the most underrated of the Bodines, IIRC he now drives the pace car at a lot of the races.
  16. Jacen said it all, and well. Keep it going Jesse, we certainly don't mean to discourage you in any way.
  17. Hello to a fellow cableguy! I was in a bucket for many years, now I'm old and manage construction for our little systems here in VT, Comcast after they bought Adelphia during the firesale My daily driver is a 2007 Hyundai Tuscon, AWD for the winters, decent but not great mileage, not worth a picture.
  18. Nice looking model and a great gift! I'm sure it will bring memories for years to come. Nice job.
  19. They'll definitley see you coming with that paint job! Great work so far.
  20. You have done a great job with this dog of a kit. I built one a couple years ago and wrestled with it for months. Nothing fit, it was a real exercise in patience/frustration. I finally got a decent looking replica out of it but it was a fight to the finish. The guy who mastered it deserved his fate!
  21. Nice job on the Tide car. That paint scheme is tough. These kits are what got me back into the hobby (that and my divorce )
  22. Nice car. A black wash of the grill would really set it off. Nice work on the foil, those roof rails are tough. I like it.
  23. Nice work. The black car is tough to pull off, but it's now an icon of the sport. Good job, hope to see more!
  24. IMO wrinkle-wall slicks don't wrinkle until you drop the hammer. Sitting still there wouldn't be wrinkles, other than looking slightly underinflated. Great model!
  25. Great paint, excellent decal work. Another great build, John.
