  1. You are the master at decaling John. Great job. You know there are 42 other drivers, right?
  2. Sweet looking car. Nice clean build. Love the Oldsmobiles.
  3. Practice is what works. I try to make each build a little better than the last (although that doesn't always happen ). Keep it up!
  4. Nice sled. Great job.
  5. Cool. The bent up hood looks realistic.
  6. Not bad at all Jesse. A nice rendition of a cool car. Keep practicing, decaling is the toughest part IMO.
  7. I always thought the Olds and Buicks from this era where sharp looking racecars. Another nice clean build John.
  8. Another black one. Great job, those numbers really pop!
  9. Excellent job. Love the color scheme. Nice clean build.
  10. Way cool. Very nice builds.
  11. Very nice, clean build. Those wheels look great, and a 150 instead of the ubiquitous Belair. Just a touch more foil on the wing windows would set it off, IMO.
  12. X2. Very clean.
  13. That #93 LeBaron is sweet! Would have been competitive for sure. I have to draw the line at a Lincoln though . I know I know, I've heard the song "Hot rod Lincoln".
  14. LOL! It flows pretty slowly. And paint don't stick so good neither.
  15. Here in sunny VT the summers are too short, I have lots of yardwork/outside stuff to do when the weather allows. I'll have plenty of time when it's dark at 4:30pm and 10 degrees out for building
  16. Kinda goes along with this previous thread: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=58025 I never knew they considered the Beretta.
  17. The only difference is the decals, they're the same kit.
  18. Really nice. The underhood and trunk detailing really set it apart. Great job!
  19. My holy grail....(sigh)
  20. That's neat! I hadn't seen a 50's Holden (being a Yank), very cool.
  21. What's the weight of a sandbag, 50, 100 lbs? It's a 1/2 ton truck so if you load it up with 50 bags it'll be sitting on the axle with flat tires and the nose in the air
  22. I've learned and limit myself to 3 builds at a time. I used to do the chassis/interior and be done way before the body, then rush the body to finish to the detriment of the project. Now I start on the body first and only when it's near ready for paint do I start on the other bits. Works for me, but like mentioned above, if you're happy with 100 projects going then by all means. IT'S A HOBBY!
  23. I haven't read it yet, just got it yesterday, but the pics are amazing. What a cool model.
  24. Who doesn't like Calvin & Hobbes? It's that little imp in us all that keeps things interesting.
