  1. Great job. Are the grilles on front decals or....? I think Brett was the most underrated of the Bodines, IIRC he now drives the pace car at a lot of the races.
  2. Hello to a fellow cableguy! I was in a bucket for many years, now I'm old and manage construction for our little systems here in VT, Comcast after they bought Adelphia during the firesale My daily driver is a 2007 Hyundai Tuscon, AWD for the winters, decent but not great mileage, not worth a picture.
  3. Nice looking model and a great gift! I'm sure it will bring memories for years to come. Nice job.
  4. They'll definitley see you coming with that paint job! Great work so far.
  5. You have done a great job with this dog of a kit. I built one a couple years ago and wrestled with it for months. Nothing fit, it was a real exercise in patience/frustration. I finally got a decent looking replica out of it but it was a fight to the finish. The guy who mastered it deserved his fate!
  6. Nice job on the Tide car. That paint scheme is tough. These kits are what got me back into the hobby (that and my divorce )
  7. Nice car. A black wash of the grill would really set it off. Nice work on the foil, those roof rails are tough. I like it.
  8. Nice work. The black car is tough to pull off, but it's now an icon of the sport. Good job, hope to see more!
  9. IMO wrinkle-wall slicks don't wrinkle until you drop the hammer. Sitting still there wouldn't be wrinkles, other than looking slightly underinflated. Great model!
  10. Great paint, excellent decal work. Another great build, John.
  11. Coming together well. The clear roof panel gives it a Crown Vic vibe. Keep it going.

The Love Bug on gas? Great job.
  13. You must be a masochist! I'm jealous, couldn't do that well on a solid bench. Great model and pictures.
  14. Nice job. My dad's 1st car was a 49 Ford and these are dear to my heart, even though he didn't like it and hasn't owned another Ford to this day! Love the opening doors.
  15. Outstanding, I couldn't do that well when I was 12. Now if she doesn't get derailed by boys.....
  16. I also like the color, great work on the interior.
  17. Looks good, nice clean job. How was this kit to build? I've got one in the stash but haven't gotten to it yet. Welcome aboard.
  18. Great work John. You're builds always inspire.
  19. This is my favorite. Great decal work. I love the spats on the front wheels.
  20. Sweet looking rail. The paint & decal work is fantastic.
  21. Some nice builds there. I especially like the #6 DK Ulrich car. Keep it up!
  22. Very nice. Those old IH's were workhorses, that's why you never saw a clean one. Great job.
  23. Yesterday's race was the best in a long time. I'm not a fan of open wheel racing but always watch the 500. They have a new car this year and more than one engine manufacturer so it's starting to get a little more interesting.
