There have been a couple of threads over on the Randy Ayers site showing dynamite builds of the COT. I think you want to stay with the AMT COT chassis and add detailing to that. The current kit has the hood separate to make that easier. You just need to add an engine (with associated FI plumbing) and the front cage parts which you might be able to make from one of the older kits. Just my opinion but it seems it would be a lot easier starting with the chassis that fits the body to begin with.
Great foil job on the skinny trim around the windows and wheelwells, I know how difficult that is! Love the color, stripe delete was a good choice. Great model!
Great story to go with an awesome build. This is more than 'just a hobby' to a lot of us on this forum, and you've taken it to the next level. Congratulations and best of luck to you and yours.
Also a nice gauge of how far you've come in skills. I go back to my early builds every once in a while when I'm blocked for inspiration, it helps except I want to redo them all ! The new rainbow car is looking good.
This is awesome Lanny! I'm loving the interest being shown in the 'Dark side' cars. Great job, your foiling looks good, nice job on the decals. These must have been impressive at the track back in the day.
