  1. I like it! Looks like a great job on the paint scheme. Congrats, that's a unique one for the display case.
  2. Sweet build! My grandfather had one just like it only red, Impala's are close to my heart. Great job.
  3. Great job, great subject!
  4. Try this site: http://simracin40.proboards.com/index.cgi. Lots of cool stuff.
  5. There have been a couple of threads over on the Randy Ayers site showing dynamite builds of the COT. I think you want to stay with the AMT COT chassis and add detailing to that. The current kit has the hood separate to make that easier. You just need to add an engine (with associated FI plumbing) and the front cage parts which you might be able to make from one of the older kits. Just my opinion but it seems it would be a lot easier starting with the chassis that fits the body to begin with.
  6. Nice color. Great photo with the sun reflections.

    Great job. Gotta love fins!
  8. Nice job. Love seeing these older NASCARS being built.
  9. Great paint, nice foiling.
  10. Looking good! You can pack a lot of detail into a bigger scale, but where do you display it when it's done . Looking forward to more.
  11. Awesome build Dave. Great engine detailing, the pulleys really add pop! Mark has always been one of my favorite drivers, remember the Stroh's T-birds?
  12. Great foil job on the skinny trim around the windows and wheelwells, I know how difficult that is! Love the color, stripe delete was a good choice. Great model!
  13. Wow. That gray and black one with the painted stacks is just too cool. I don't know much about the big rigs but these are all cool.
  14. Nice color, good clean build. I like it, Chevelle's are always cool.
  15. Great story to go with an awesome build. This is more than 'just a hobby' to a lot of us on this forum, and you've taken it to the next level. Congratulations and best of luck to you and yours.
  16. I love the rear 3/4 view, the batwing at it's finest! As commented before, great model.
  17. Also a nice gauge of how far you've come in skills. I go back to my early builds every once in a while when I'm blocked for inspiration, it helps except I want to redo them all ! The new rainbow car is looking good.
  18. Very nice, you do outstanding work Tulio, glad you joined the forum.
  19. Great job, nice save.
  20. Interesting history. How did they fare in the races they ran? I love that they ran whitewalls .
  21. Excellent build, even tho it's not a Galaxie . Great job.
  22. This is awesome Lanny! I'm loving the interest being shown in the 'Dark side' cars. Great job, your foiling looks good, nice job on the decals. These must have been impressive at the track back in the day.
  23. Great idea! Definitely keep the chrome bumpers and trim, I hated the monochrome look, but love the big meats and over the top engines.
