  1. Thanks for all the responses and great info. I haven't forgotten you guys, been under the weather the last few days and trying to put together a list. I'll be PMing those that were interested soon. I don't suppose there is a way to send the same PM to multiple recipients?
  2. Wow. 1/43 plug wires that don't look like heater hoses. Excellent work.
  3. First rate replica. Put it in the right backround and it would look real! I always wondered about this car, the 4 front wheel idea must not have been an advantage, or did they rule it out of the book like the turbines at Indy?
  4. I'm confused (what's new ). Is this post aimed at this site or a copy of what you posted on 'Brian's Model Cars' site?
  5. 2 great models. Looking forward to their progress.
  6. Add my congrats. Great model!
  7. Looks great, love the wheels! Nice clean job.
  8. Very cool collection. I've been getting more and more into the older stuff. These are great, looks like you do a lot of research. Hope to see more!

    VW 1300

Very nice, brings back a lot of memories. These used to be everywhere on the roads, I remember when you could get one new for $1,800! Now they are a very rare sight. Excellent work.
  10. Johann, the kit comes from a new manufacterer named Moebius. They've released 2 versions of the Hudson (the other is Tim Flock's NASCAR). They are also due out with a 55 Chrysler 300 that a lot of us are drooling over. They also released a tractor trailer rig and have some more stuff in the works. The Hudson is a great kit, well worth the time if you're into the subject.
  11. Doh - 'head slap'. Why didn't I catch that?
  12. Also, weren't driveshafts painted white so they would show up when they came out from under a car in a wreck? I love this build btw, got one of my own in the case.
  13. Excellent model! I followed your WIP, glad you stayed with it. Looks period perfect.
  14. Almond or I used Ivory on mine.
  15. Sweet, very nice job. Truck in the shop before a race, no decals?
  16. I knew there had to be money in there somewhere!
  17. Nice builds. Welcome, there's lots of great folks and good tips here.
  18. I don't understand why 'likes' on FB mean anything? Does it put more money in someone's pocket, that's why all the emphasis? Not just for ModelCars but every company / website / marketer wants more 'likes'. I don't get it, but then again I remember black & white TV !
  19. Not orange peel, grapefruit peel ! Looking forward to this, love the big boat Ponchos.
  20. Nice work on the chassis changes and seat. That's a great looking seat, I wonder where it comes from?
  21. Excellent job, great finish. I agree about the kit. I built one a couple years ago and it gave me fits.
  22. They came today! Many thanks to Mikes Decals, great service and great prices. I think I can combine both sheets and have just what I need. Now I just have to get in the mood again.
  23. Great start. Winged sprints are the most awe-inspiring sights on the track. I can't imagine trying to wrestle one around a 1/4 mile of dirt !
  24. Nice subtle weathering underneath, great truck.
  25. Love 50's Pontiacs! Nice job.
