One of the first rules learned in photography school is pay attention to the backround. It's hard at first not to focus your attention on the subject at hand, but with practice you learn to "see" everything in the frame as the camera will (like that tree growing out of Aunt Gertrude's head). That and proper lighting will go a long way in getting better pictures.
I have to agree. Content aside, the money goes to the parent corporation. How much american content is there in a John Deere tractor or a Westinghouse refrigerator? The sad fact is not much is still manufactured in this country. We are quickly becoming a service economy that cannot compete with cheap exploited labor in Mexico, China, et al.
Very nice build Oziel (do they call you Ozzie?). Killer stance, I like the wheel/tire combo, smooth paint, good work on the decals. Welcome to the website, thanks for your service, and congratulations! (not necessarily in that order)
Also the bluegrass band "The Dillards" played 'the boys'. I have several of their albums (yes vinyl) from back in the day. I loved Denver Pyle as Briscoe Darling as he growled at Andy and Barney! "Why sheriff, I didn't know you strang!"
Excellent work on both. I feel the same way about ultra-detailing where it won't be seen, especially on stockers. Hope to see more as you get the time.
Such a great show, always with a moral at the end! Truly a great actor and producer. I saw a show a while back that said nothing got on that show that wasn't scripted/rehearsed. He was a taskmaster on the set but the end result speaks for itself. RIP Sheriff!
If your hobby was boating or skydiving think what that costs. Or if you like to play with 1:1 cars $800 will get hardly anything. And yes, we're all seriously brain damaged here
Very cool. I had a 1:1 and your plan sounds just like where I wanted to go with it, but I ended up selling it before it was finished. I'll be watching with interest.
I haven't posted anything in a while and John's got me all fired up with all the T LaB cars, so here's mine.
I left off the contingency decals because I like the clean look of the paint scheme, sorta like it just came from the shop (plus I got lazy and called it done)
Flash on a new tool, unacceptable. Obviously a quality issue. On a repop from 20 years ago, I'm just happy to get it. On an out-of production for ages Johan (for instance) kit, I'll put in the extra effort. It's all a matter of degree.
