  2. Nice paint and wheel choices. Looks great! Steve
  3. Beautiful build. Love all the little details like the red on the finned valve covers, the wire looms and the fuel lines. Awesome model. Steve
  4. Beautiful job. Love the 53 Fords! Your's looks great!!
  5. Very clean. Just right as far as tire sizes and stance. Great job! Steve
  6. Up front I just gotta say @bogger44, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery sir. When I saw your green LB Works Huracan I knew I needed something like that in my garage but dang - it had to be that color. And lately I've been on a license plate personalization kick. And then the movie "Wicked" came out. And so here we are... Tamiya Carbon Fiber decal sheet for the three panels below... Sorry for the mega cluster of photos. The LB Works Murcielago has no bad angles. Unless you try to take a shot of the interior. Ariana Grande could hide from the paparazzi for days with the glass angles and reflections. My only regret was using the black stickers provided for the side window moldings/seals. Shoulda spent an hour or two masking and airbrushing, but hindsight is always 20/20. Anyway, thanks Bogger44. Glad she's in my garage (and off the bench 🤣)! Thanks for looking in. Steve
  7. Beautifully retro! That takes me back. Outstanding paint. Cragar S/Ss? The wheels are perfect!
  8. Beautiful detailing in the engine bay. Fabulous topic as well! Nice! Steve
  9. Beautiful paint on that Cobra. Wow! (They all look great but that Cobra paint!) Steve
  10. @Sam I Am Those have aged nicely! Real classics. Steve
  11. Love the nostalgia. Great story and an awesome build! When stock cars looked stock - warms my heart! 🤣 Steve
  12. All I can say is yes. Just yes. Very nice artistry. Steve
  13. @mustang1989 It is the Tamiya Waterline Yorktown in 1/700 scale (Tamiya kit 31712). The planes are two boxes of Flyhawk FH1164. Below the Tamiya kit Wildcat on the left, Flyhawk on the right. A lot of work but worth it (Tamiya 1 piece, Flyhawk is 4 pieces). Steve
  14. Beautiful work Jeff. I am about to do my first try at this kit - doing the body in red. Very clean build and nice color choice. Looking forward to working on this AMT kit. Very convincing welding rig as well, by the way. Steve
  15. That looks really nice! Awesome color choice!! Steve
  16. Digging those "stinger" exhausts - really connects the front engine street rod/rear engine bug mix. Steve
  17. Gotta resurrect. Here's the last one from when I was 13 (45 years ago). Found this on the internet and had to buy it! Gonna do an identical build 45 years later to compare and contrast my skills then and now. Should be fun! (The only thing not original to the 1980's build is the silver sharpie door handles - did a test for my General Lee build this year.) This Avenger Ford existed in it's 45 year old state until I decided to start turning it into a moonshine runner last year. The 45 year old Testors black enamal is polishing up nice. Needless to say a work in progress. It won't be perfect but the car is old.
  18. @STU111 They are tiny! But my secret weapon is the optivisor, 2.5x magnification. If it looks good under the optivisor it should look good to just about anyone.
  19. Wow - beautiful work but that red Impala wins the internet for me today. Very nice!! Steve
  20. Nice work on the ageing/patina - especially the Nova wagon and the hood on the Charger! Very nice! Steve
  21. @Zippi Thanks! The F150 looks good in person but being 1/64 scale the decals look a little pixelated from the printer 😪. The other three were plastic builds. Slow year but fun - I have more in work on the bench than I finished. Ugh. 🤣
  22. The "forbidden builds" in 1/25, The General and The Bandit. A Hailie Deegan F150 repaint in 1/64 diecast... And an.... aircraft carrier?? USS Yorktown in 1/700 scale.
  23. @bobss396 Brilliant idea to design the garage around a good storage box. So much dust in California, I will follow your lead. You definitely should start one! Steve
  24. @Dann Tier Testors Model Master Plum Crazy metallic flake from a rattle can.
  25. @Dann Tier Thanks! Fixed up the tail lights so she's out of the shop now. Waiting on printing a 70's style California personalized plate. Had a European plate on there before.
