  1. School delayed 'till 12:00 noon today since the freezing rain last night. Sun's out now; just took two hours shoveling the snow off my grandma's driveway, revealing the ice layer beneath. Hopefullt the sun will melt the ice and hopefully no more freakin' snow since it's April tomorrow.
  2. Oh wow I like thisun 👍
  3. Favourite year of the ‘60s Cadillacs. And this one looks fantastic 👍
  4. Now that’s just really awesome 👍
  5. Nice trio of three ‘57s. I built one of these too but chopped the top off and made it a drop top.
  6. Looking extremely cool; we rarely ever see a Dodge Challenger with a six cylinder. Cool 👍
  7. Looking real fine; I just have to get my hands on one of these kits. Love the vinyl top by the way 👍
  8. Whell that’s the coolest thing I’ve seen today. 👍
  9. I am mad at myself today. Broke my dad’s grandfather’s 1968 Ingram Renown pocket watch; about 10 seconds before I would’ve fixed it. Popped the back open to look inside, and then stupid me decided to unscrew the four little screws holding the inside plate in, and then take that out to look at all those gears and whatnot. I then proceeded to realize that the little S to F lever on the plate meant start to finish, and since the lever was at F, I came to the conclusion that in order to have the clock work again, all I had to do was reset the lever to start, and it would be good again for another long while. SO then I thought it would be ok to put it to the start position while the plate was still not screwed on. As soon as I did that the thing blew up. So now I am more than disappointed since all I literally had to do was push a lever, instead of unscrewing those screws. Going to have to bring it to the jewler tomorrow to have it fixed. Didn’t lose any parts in the explosion but I have no actual idea how to put the thing back together. I just cannot believe how idiotic the situation became. Very disappointed.
  10. I should also mention that I, and neither do my parents actually have facebook, so we don't know the first thing about how it works but my dad just has a co worker at work who has facebook to message for us, but still that's not the issue, it's the luck of the 'book I guess
  11. Freezing rain later today
  12. I remember when my dad was selling his dirt bike on kijiji (an arguably better site then facebook in terms of flaky people) and he only accepted phone calls and some people would call, leave a message and he'd call them back but then they'd never call back and it was just a terrible thing since quite a few people were interested. Finally sold it though a bit less than the bottom line price since he just didn't want to deal the people anymore.
  13. That looks good; Real cool we did similar interior colour combos!
  14. Right on, I too just built a '59 last month
  15. Ok so it seems nowadays more people are selling stuff on the facebook marketplace, but pretty much every single time we've found something of interest, it was like pulling teeth trying to either go look at the item or come with cash in hand to pick it up. Three scenarios we've had: One was a circa 1973 fold-up bike that was reasonably for sale, owner never responded, and the ad was up forever; maybe even still is. A '60 Plymouth Johan wagon kit for reasonable price; upon messaging, the seller set status to pending but never responded. And this one, a prospect buy 1969 Pontiac LeMans, freshly restored, reasonable price; multiple messaging with one "I'll call you tomorrow" that never happened. As far as we know, this is a real ad since we were able to find the actual house the car was photographed at, but never anyone there. SO is it just back luck for us or do you also have similar scenarios while trying to buy something
  16. Sun sun sun now that Mother Nature took the snowbird away
  17. That looks real cool; must say I’ve never seen a model build of it
  18. Hate to say it but I think it’s sold already
