  1. It does make it quite tricky, yes; I know our local Canadian Tire has spray paint for actual cars, and we did buy and use one (for my '64 Galaxie) but it wasn't the greatest. One store we're goin' to check up on today is the local Colour Your World store, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that as an option. Paint bushes aren't too bad, i've been able to keep on re-using two particular ones my dad had since the late '70s; just keep dipping them in a paint thinner bottle and that keeps them clean enough; Plus when they were clearencing the model brushes we bought up few, and really any paint brush would do. Shouldn't have to worry about glue for a bit; but I do only have one left. As for kits; i'm not terribly concerned, since there is a hobby shop in southern Ontario that does ship them (i've got two from there already) and the local vintage junk shop has a semi-steady stock of a reasonably priced vintage kits here and there.
  2. The local Michaels is getting out of model kits, ten fold; having now put all spray paints on clearence, and there were very slim pickin's to choose from. After that I have no actual idea where to get spray paint, little testors paint capsules, kits, or supplies because there is absolutely no other crafty stores in town or North or East the highway. Probably will end up ordering new kits, but can't build if I don't have paint. I do have quite a few spary cans, but they'll run out eventually... The search continues for a paint colour for the '63 Nova wagon.
  3. Clip clop went the horsey
  4. The first one counts; maybe not the other two; The batmobile just kept getting more absurd after the awesome '55 Lincoln Futura
  5. I like it I like it a lot yes
  6. Realized there's only 4 or 5 weeks of school left
  7. Sun came back and brought the robins with it.
  8. Full on snowstorm yesterday
  9. Finished the rebuild of the '56 Del Ray on Saturday, and on Sunday began working on the FINAL TWO cars I am going to rebuild; no more old ones after these two. My '63 Nova wagon is just shedding its krappy paint job, and my '61 Galaxie is getting an exciting conversion that I don't believe has ever been done before. But that's all I'll say about that.
  10. Whoa the previous build you started from is whack; some kinda tow-truck abomination. GREAT SAVE it looks super classy now ๐Ÿ‘
  11. Whoa those cougars sure are noice ๐Ÿ‘
  12. That looks real good; I like it a lot. Neat interior lighting idea.
  13. Rebuilt from a fallen apart build from 2021. Same interior and engine compartment, just new paint and wheels. This is what I started with
  14. Thatโ€™s cool; I keep fantasizing about the collection of cars Iโ€™m gonna get; malaise era land yachts and space age jets; those cars I noticed, at least around here, come cheap for good condition. Plus I like them big cars.
  15. The sun 'round here is finally staying out later, and rising earlier
