  1. They do, I found it over by the cardstock/ printing section. They had a small display of it.
  2. I'm curious how this worked out for you, I'm always learning and taking what I know from full scale builds and shrinking it down isn't always the best option at this scale. Both Steve and Bill are leagues more knowledgeable than I, and that boils down to experience.
  3. I always enjoy seeing this. When my wife and I were looking for another dog, we visited with 8-9 different different dogs, unfortunately most of them were from bad situations and were defensive towards men. Breaks my heart that people evil in that way. We found Harper and everything just clicked. You did a great thing and I'm sure Riley loves you for it.
  4. I believe the movie you are thinking of is called one by one. There's also the Netflix movie rush.
  5. Great job with the revision on your space, that organizer is awesome, makes me want a 3d printer. ?
  6. No problem, nothing worse than putting in work for a nice paint job and having in issue arise. I'm not really familiar with paper weights/ their grading system, I'm a welder/fabricator.
  7. I don't really build to 100% perfection or scale, but just if it looks correct to my eye. A .188 (3 1/16) inch panel gap would be .00752. At 1/25 scale. If the calculator was correct.
  8. This is going to look sharp when you're finished. Very nice work so far
  9. Sometimes that's your best bet, I'm back into the hobby less than 6 months, and I've learned a ton. Especially here. With all the possibilities of chemistry not playing well together, I seek out as much as I can. Good luck with your paint job. ?
  10. Welcome to the forum Mark.
  11. I think this is awesome, that car is so sweet. Looks like you got a good start going, I'll be paying attention. Make sure you have a few spare hemis laying around cause this thing eats them.
  12. Not 100% if this will work for you, they are from the 65 gto 3in1 kit. My kit is complete, and I'm no thrilled with the chassis, so these won't be used.
  13. Looking good.
  14. Try a comet wash before the soapy water, it'll add a bit of "tooth" to the surface, not enough to wipe out detail unless you go crazy, and if there's any mold release ect on the parts, gives you a better shot at removing it. Belt and suspenders, basically. Also, use cheap old hardware store primer( touch and tone) and have no issues with primer/paint not sticking.
  15. Unless it's one of the fast and furious movies. Then you an 18 speed . And a 4 mile quarter mile.
  16. Was that an "L.A. Beast" video?
  17. The end mill tubes is a great idea, we tend to go through them at work, so there's an abundance.
  18. It will probably follow the current formula of old head (tom cruise) "mentoring" some hard luck rebel punk to be the next champion much in the same way most current sequels do. Might be an entertaining movie from an action point of view but a paper thin plot like everything else. Just my guess
  19. My wife asked me if I could use this, it's the container for her sewing needles. Worked out perfectly to store the 5-6most common sizes of small drills, I imagine it should work for other things. 5 separate compartments plus the back opens for a 6th. If anyone's significant other sews, you may already have them around. Figured I'd pass this on
  20. Thanks, lyme isn't fun, and im a "tough it out" kinda guy, but antibiotics help. According to a quick search, the kit has the 389. I'm going off a few different pictures I've found online, to try and keep thing "correct". Also, I've chosen to use only cheap craft paint, so that's as close as I can mix up myself by eye. It definitely would be picked apart at Mecum or Pebble Beach.
  21. Agree, even if Robert Duvall reminds me of my father.
  22. Nice, the walmart by me never has any kits.
  23. Back at it after feeling beat up, got bit by a tick. Anyway, managed to build plug wires, and get half the engine wired. I have to remake one of the wire guides, didn't like the way it was fitting. Let me know what you all think. thanks.
  24. More swap meet finds for me. Got these five kits, the "vette was free with the two Nascar kits. It and the thunderbird are built, the vette's ok, thunderbird not so much. Can't complain for five bucks. The two drag cars were had for 25/pair. The pin vises were the big deal, 5 bucks. starrett make really nice tools. I've included the part number in the pic if anyone is looking for a pin vise, and they do sell the separately.
  25. Welcome to the forum Andy. I used to build r.c. as well, both nitro and electric. Fun hobby.
