I wish someone would re-issue the union/heller/protar/testors 512 S. I Gave away my kit years ago. I can' t find one on the bay for less than 30-35$. Tom over at Hobby Heaven had one for 25$. I blinked before hitting the 'buy me now' button and lost it  -
I stripped the old paint off of mine, yours has given me the motor-vation to get back to work on it. Great job Ajay!!!!!

Still waiting on Aoshima to restock on the 1977 Celica GT liftback so I can get two. One to make my first car from and then the other to make what I wanted my first car to end up like. I will third or fourth the wide body Starion kit. I would really like to see a last generation starion kit. I still want one full-scale.

Now I've lost it! 1/3 scale model of a scale model

Hey Ish, I saw a 308 in that exact color today whip by me in traffic. I had to do a double take to make sure you weren't driving it That color looks really sharp on the full size too. -
Does anybody have a listing of...

I liked the rocks thrown by the exhaust!!! 8) -
Which of the Aoshima wheels sets are two piece. Every place that I have looked does not list whether the wheels are two piece or not. It is much easier to paint the spokes that way. TIA

After seeing a couple of the 308 that some people have been posting, the quest has begun. I know that everyone says that the monogram is the best. What about the Fujimi? At least I believe that it is a Fujimi. There are a couple on the 'bay right now. One Revell, one Monogram and one Testors, which I believe would be actually a Fujimi. Is that correct, or did Testors borrow the molds from someone else? Thanks

Nice work again Ajay.... I need to stop looking in this forum... sig line says it all....

Very nice Ajay.... I will not start another project.... I will not start another project... I will not start another project...

I just discovered a yellow pantera in town today. After seeing yours, I may have to start searching the 'bay. You are becoming as bad for my work bench as Mr Arter. Either that or I have to stop looking at these threads. I will not start another project. I will not start another project. I will not start another project.. :?
-
Dangit!!!! Mr Arter you have got to stop posting cars like this! I already have way too many projects going. This inspiration that you keep posting is driving me batty!! My wife keeps yelling at me for dragging another kit out of storage and starting it. If you don't stop posting such good looking kits, I may look into a cease and desist order!!! Great work as always Mr Arter... even if it isn't raked!!!

For wheel well molding, I use one large piece. You can either cut it to fit the radius (the piece will look like a large upside down U) or you can just cut out a large square to cover the entire wheel well and then trim the excess. The easiest is to just trim off the molding and build only baseline trim models

Hey Dave, Life has gotten way in the way this week. I didn't realize that I was on call this week and have worked double shifts every day so far. I do have the parts, I just have to remember to get them to the post office. I will make a concentrated effort to get them in the mail tomorrow. I will even send them priority. Sorry that this has happened. Ken -

Not really a big deal, I do believe like you, that these people should either keep the cars or give them back to Foose. Let him decide the fate... and not in a Jesse James/Monster Garage fashion either... -
Yeah, I was gonna mention that little ripple by the front passenger's side marker light  Just kidding!!! Looks absolutely beautiful!!!!

I have dealt with them many times. I bought a bunch of Gundam stuff for my brother for christmas a couple of years ago. I usually purchase at least once a year or so from them. I tend to save up and make a large purchase as that saves a bit on shipping. I have never had a problem with them. I believe that the last order I placed arrived within 7-10 business days. Just make sure that they have the order in stock before you place it. I have even dealt with them in person at one of the IPMS nats and they were great in person. Got some great last day of show specials from them. I bought a Tamiya enzo, 360 modena and a Calsonic skyline for something like 50$ total. I Got the Enzo for 20.00$ US. I also picked up a Hasegawa(spelling) Valkerie kit for 15.00$ as a welcome back from Iraq present for my little brother.

This one was not a family car. It was a car donated to Wyo-tech and then overhauled and presented to the main teacher to show appreciation by his students. The episode was a couple of years ago, so my memory is a bit faded. I don't know if the car was given to the teacher by the school or if the school retained ownership. So I don't think that auctioning it off to create a scholarship program is in poor taste. The people who do have their family do it out of a gesture of love and then sell it on ebay need a reality check... -
