  1. Welcome aboard! Great folks here, and every one does the.. how do I do this, where can I find that. Can't wait to see what you churn out!
  2. Nice man! Can't wait to see! I have found this forum to be amazing for boosting confidence, skills, and knowledge, while not being overly serious. And do a test piece with the clear coat and see how it looks. (Grab a chunk of sprue or a piece you didn't use)
  3. Excellent work on the rusting!
  4. I have bought a ton of kits from my childhood that brought me joy then and will now be able to build them with so much more skill and patience. I also have a few that are limited run stuff or hard to find that I will be building. I am sitting at 450ish kits of various mediums, and plan on getting to about 1k. I am looking at having a nice stash for retirement even as I build now. I have found that my blood line is good to early 90's and being fair with eye hand coordination, so that gives me hope. If for some odd reason my eye hand is horrid, I will sell them and invest the monies in other things I can enjoy.
  5. I just placed an order with Iceman Collections for parts for the Fleetmaster Aerosedan I shared a bit ago! Plus some parts for a gasser!
  6. I hit my local shop today and found 2 of 3 kits I was excited for, and bought 2 of the 3. The paint is for the Skyline. I have a plan for the Fleetmaster, and throwing around 5-6 ideas for the coupe.
  7. Can't wait to see your Turbine!
  8. Keep building! I love seeing new builders and having your dad's help to build, is a great thing! It's creating awesome memories!
  9. Bwahahah.. sounds about right!
  10. Thanks John! I tried to stick with the vibe of the 30's minus color choice, had to be bold. And the contrasting colors just happened to be an accident as I was shopping for paint for a plane.
  11. Great work! I like the COE trucks such a cool look.
  12. Love it!
  13. IRC MCW can have it put into a spray can so you can buy and shoot. https://mcwfinishes.com/
  14. Following! Have 2 of these in my stash, and was gonna avoid a stock build, but your interior is very nice and can't wait to see more progress on it!
  15. So here is my view on a 30's mod styled Ford Pickup. This was started in my hotel, while out on the road for work, and wrapped up at the house. I learned a few things, and I lost the stupid license plate (gonna have to raid one out of my stash somewhere) I have to give the tail light some red and it will be done. Currently hanging out on my computer desk after building. I will be making a photo shoot booth so I stop using my paint booth.
  16. Final WiP on this old boy. Will post in Completed soon with a battery of shots.
  17. So this is the last WiP pic on what I accomplished on the 34 Ford Truck I will be posting to Completed with some pics. (I need to do better on pic taking but atm using my spray booth due to the lighting in it... I have plans for a photo booth though.)
  18. Sounds good, let me see how things go on my end. As of now I am expected to be in town.
  19. Chevelle, Cougar and Willy's for sure, like 2-3 of each.
  20. Oh look.. 2-3 of these I didn't know I needed, this is a wicked looking Datsun! That box art is what has me at 2-3 for sure. I'm doomed, and my wallet is bawling!
  21. Cab is glued, I have to paint the air filter, and glue the truck bed in place hopefully tomorrow, and then I can take a couple pics and throw it in Finished
  22. I glued the cab of my 34 truck to the frame today, while giving my one kitty special chicken treats. Tomorrow gonna shoot to get the bed mounted, and then a few pics.
  23. Very Sleek!
