  1. I agree with Modlbldr. I think that it might flow a little better with the ridges, or character lines, from the '69 rear quarter panels. With that being said, I love it! What a great concept!
  2. They do, but the trick is making the pile o' parts look like the picture. Thanks for the photos.
  3. I was planning on leaving it open, but I still have no clue about how to put it together and image searches have turned up empty.
  4. I bought a Detail Master "cam type" 5 point harness and cannot for the LIFE of me figure out how this buckle/clasp goes together. Can anyone offer any suggestions? My instructions only have the belt templates, they do not have diagrams of how to attach the various clasps and buckles. The main center clasp is what has me confused. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  5. Looking good as usual, Lyle. FYI to those unfamiliar with the Wagonrod kit, it has a custom hot rod chassis and suspension with air ride suspension at all 4 corners, as well as air compressor. I bought a few of these just for those parts.
  6. This should be fun! I can't wait to see the progress.
  7. I agree. That 33 Chevy Panel was an awesome kit!
  8. Sweet build Love those 67-72 Chevies!
  9. What is a good source for a closer to stock front end for a 73(?) Fold Flacon XB to use with Aoshima's Road Warrior kit? Is there a resin transkit available or a good kit based source? P.S. Is that roof spoiler something that was added for the movies, or did the real ones have them too?
  10. Hey there everyone! The Metroplex Car Modeler's Association Annual Lone Star NNL is this Saturday 11/6 in Irving, TX. Go to MCMA Contests Page Hope to see you there!
  11. This is gonna be awesome! P.S. I love those headers that you mastered for Norm!
  12. That is awesome!!!
  13. I think this would be an fun recurring thread, sorta like the real or model. Someone takes a pic of a part or parts tree and see who can name it.
  14. I think there is a Jag type IRS in the 26 Sedan Delivery Kit. You'll obviously have to modify it to fit in the Deuce chassis.
  15. Lookin good Terry! Can't wait to see this one as it progresses!
  16. Very Cool! Love watching the progress!
  17. As usual, Marcos, it looks great! Your usual attention to detail is great. The detail painting on the wheels is pretty sweet! One question: did you do any sealer or anything to keep the red from bleeding through, or is that not a problem with this particular red plastic.
  18. I like the 2 black ones and the second one from the top.
  19. That is a killer color!
  20. It was on an episode of "Street Customs", which is/was a show that focuses on the crew at West Coast Customs.
  21. Word! Not to mention the cool articles and profiles they do about builders and parts makers from back in the day.
  22. That's one of my biggest pet peeves, too. I've seen write-ups that say "it's fully wired and plumbed, but box-stock." Drives me nuts!
  23. Technically, I think it would be a hyphenated word, i.e. "scratch-built" as opposed to two separate words.
