  1. I just learned the my dad's first car was a 1966 Dodge Dart. I'm not quite sure how that one slipped by me for the past 35 years, but anyways. I haven't really had Dodge Dart kits on my radar so the only ones I'm really aware of are the new Revell 68 Hemi Dart and Mr Norm's 68 Dart. Are there any kits of the 66 Dart? I have seen on Model Roundup the "Hemi Hunter" Dart; is that the same-ish as the 1966 Dart?
  2. Dave, I believe Modelhaus makes replacement stock parts for the AMT 1960 Truck. I have a set in my stash. Ditto on the cool project. I love lowered classic trucks!
  3. Thanks. They are quite a bit different. I guess I'll have to wait until Revell (hopefully) tools it up.
  4. Any word on when, if at all, Revell will be tooling up a new Coyote 5.0 for these Mustangs?
  5. Ditto on all of the wows! Very, very cool!
  6. Man, it looks a lot better without the fenders! Great idea!
  7. What are the external differences between the new Coyote 5.0 and the 4.6L modular V8 in the older Mustangs? Are they distinguishable?
  8. I'm with you Marcos; this type of car is not my cup of tea, but your work on it is looking pretty good.

Very cool! That merc is super sharp! well done. The rack for the surf boards in the bed of the 64 is a nice touch, too.
  10. Very kool!
  11. I agree! I might need to snag a set of those wheels and tires.
  12. Actually a solid rubber tire was used before air filled tires; apparently you can't go as fast with a solid rubber tire. They are still used for fork lifts and stuff.
  13. Bridgestone is apparently close to a production airless tire. Check it out.
  14. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Clint Eastwood in that movie read "Scale Auto Enthusiast" (as it was called back then) to try to get into the villain's way of thinking?
  15. I read in Issue #15 of The Rodder's Journal in a feature on his 40 Ford (the same issue as Jimmy Shine's 34 Ford Pickup) that he built models as a kid and that influenced the kind of hot rods and customs he likes, and that he would stuff the biggest engine he could into a car. So now instead of model cars, he has full size cars built. If I had the kind of money he does, so would I.
  16. I think he used the name EddieV (go figure). I remember reading one of his posts a few years back about how he super glued his fingers together before a show once, and they banned him from building before a show after that.
  17. That's just cool! What's the '48 Harley from?
  18. Ditto what everyone else said; that is sooo smooove!
  19. Love it! Have you already modified to hood? Great wheel choice.
  20. These look nice. Interesting idea to use the 67 Chevelle Pro Street chassis. The wheels on the fleetside make it look a little dated, though; kinda mid-90's. Plowboy, he said those wheels and tires from the snap dually kit.

  22. Anyone up for this bad boy? http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2011/12/05/artist-creates-47-million-model-car/?test=faces
  23. Ahhh. Thanks.
  24. How 'bout the Hemi from the Revell 5 Window Coupe with the resin 6 carb intake from Replica's & Miniatures of Maryland?
  25. I think it's a Revell Kit. See here http://www.modelroundup.com/product-p/rmx-4239.htm
