  1. Driving back from Florida to Texas this weekend. It was raining from Jacksonville to Baton Rouge. We saw this poor guy around Gulf Port Ms, I think, on I 10. He was driving a T-bucket roadster pickup. It was the best picture my wife could safely get with my iPhone.
  2. Now THAT in one cool logo!
  3. I have always been confused by the lack of Trans-Am series versions of the various subjects, such as Sonoco Camaro, AAR 'cudas, Mustangs, the various Merc Cougars (I also think that a decent 67 Cougar kit is a great idea, since all we have is that funny car one), the AMX Javelins, I could go on...
  4. I'd say it's pro...WINNING! Very cool build.
  5. That is just too cool! You should add some flames coming out of the exhaust pipes!
  6. Slightly off topic question for Futurabat; do you have a fotki or photobucket with some highlight reference photos that we could use for general reference when trying to recreate the TV Batmobile?
  7. If you use the Mozzila Firefox web browser instead of Internet Explorer, it comes with a spell checker built in that works more or less like the spell checker in MS Word. It's a free download.
  8. Cruz, that color is SICK!!! Excellent build a usual!
  9. Call me odd (just don't call me Shirley) but that green lower valence looks a lot like a smile. It could be a great mouth for a character in the "Cars" universe.
  10. I would like to see a decently engineered and detailed 67-72 Chevy Pickup a-la Revell 64 Chevy Truck. That oft re-issued AMT kit is pretty awful; the hood doesn't fit right, the front bumper/grill doesn't fit right, the promo style chassis is just sad and the bed is really fiddly. It's one of my favorite vehicles, but the kit offering is pretty sad. That said I do have like 7 or 8 of the various iterations of that kit.
  11. Does anyone have photos of this kit's contents? I've seen Futurabat's thread, but that's a test shot (right?) of the glue kit.
  12. I don't think it was restored, I think it may have just been in really good shape.
  13. That is sooo slick! Makes me want to grab one of these kits. BTW, which Aoshima rims are those?
  14. That's some pretty awesome work!
  15. I believe the opposite. I don't think muscle cars look all that good with wheels smaller than 18". However, they don't look all that great with wheels over 20", though.
  16. I missed this one first time around, I guess. This is awesome! Any photos of the 8 track?
  17. Great car. I downloaded a few photos of this car when I started researching the XB GT Falcon. Hopefully we will one day get a resin conversion kit to turn the Mad Max car into a closer to stock XB.
  18. Nice looking cage. I would suggest that the bar the crosses the door connect to the floor at the same location as the A pillar post, or better yet, connect to the A pillar post. It would be better from a structural standpoint. Maybe the race car specialists could back me up or correct me.
  19. I agree with everyone else. That is AWESOME!!!
  20. Lyle, that paint is awesome!!! Great tip on smoking.
  21. I feel your pain, especially with the 50 Chevy and Hornet. What's been killing me is waiting for the various issues of the 1/25 1966 Batmobile. There are going to be possibly 3 versions of this kit released over the course of the next year. The wait is KILLING ME! But I have been waiting for 1/25 issue of this kit since I started building models, and soon will have 3 options to choose from! I like the announcing of upcoming models and all the analysis that the model building community has about what they heard from "sources close to the model company" and such. It's kinda fun.
  22. Love the grill! I think it looks best with no bumpers, though.
