Glad to learn you are doing good. Most impressive build, pretty much building it full size, same materials and tools. -

First time I see the interior tub for this model. Mine was missing. Detail is faint at best. Good job!. -

I subscribe to the theory that we are dead already and this is hell. How much worse it can be?. (waiting for next week news). -
Can we go lower?, I am deeply afraid...

That's depressing...

Don't do today what you can leave for tomorrow. Don't do it yourself when somebody else can do it for you. When you feel like working stay in bed until it is over. -

Simon Fordman. He does this kind of resurrections from time to time. What I like most is when he makes a mistake he shows it and how to correct after. If you are interested there is also Budget Buildz. -

WOW!. Only way to top this off would be to remove the gas cap and actually smell like gas (maybe you did?) Just for fun, put one of the old grilles against the new ones.- 100 replies

Wife had a somewhat close "incident": went to the hospital for an unrelated matter, passed out briefly and walked out 3 days later with a pacemaker. Couple friends were admitted for "not feeling really well". They got quad bypasses... -
Rolls-Royce No Chemicals, No Paint, No Harmful Glues
Big Messer replied to Anglia105E's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Had to be either P R N D L or P R N D 2 1. And probably driving such a land yacht was quite the experience... -
Bad language? Would you please elaborate?

Funny that I posted an explanation about why I don't like windows and it is gone. Censorship?

Rolls-Royce No Chemicals, No Paint, No Harmful Glues
Big Messer replied to Anglia105E's topic in WIP: Model Cars
I had a 1958 Pontiac with auto trans and it had the old P N D L R pattern, just to add to the confusion... In 1959 (I think) changed to P R N D L . The old pattern was supposed to help move a car stuck in snow or mud by making shifting from R to L faster. Probably another instance or engineering misfiring... -

That auto shifter pattern is odd: no park? AFAIK Rolls-Royce used GM transmissions. Did they make changes to the shift pattern? -
Windows? YIKES!

A V8 would have been a better choice for this car. Fatter but shorter (and probably lighter). But designers, for various reasons, not always follow common sense. So we modelers have no choice...

That is why I NEVER put pics in a cloud service. All of mine are stored in a hard drive, sitting on My desk, connected to MY confuser.
