  1. I think I will steal the idea of displaying the unfinished stuff. Now I have to look for a LONG shelf...
  2. Very nice!. In fact so nice that I wouldn't enter in a race...
  3. Just chop it in smaller chunks, like model subassemblies...
  4. (Sigh)... I am way too familiar with this. On the plus side I keep doing it!.💣
  5. To scratchbuild one get the best 4X4 military truck you can find, throw away cab and all safety features and build the cargo bed. No need to be overly neat, no stinking fillers needed, weather to the max, then a lot more. Bonus points for mismatched bald tires with missing chunks and something stuck between the duallies.
  6. Looks like the front door should be longer and the wheelbase shorter. Pretty common. When doing a conversion like this I first take pictures of the original model and then mess with them in any photo editing program.
  7. ... but we have to deal with the consequences anyway...
  8. Glad to learn you are doing good. Most impressive build, pretty much building it full size, same materials and tools.
  9. First time I see the interior tub for this model. Mine was missing. Detail is faint at best. Good job!.
  10. I subscribe to the theory that we are dead already and this is hell. How much worse it can be?. (waiting for next week news).
  11. Can we go lower?, I am deeply afraid...
  12. That's depressing...
  13. A Rolls-Royce to run an errand to the grocery store?. Didn't know that you are so rich...
  14. I am here for some reason, just forgot why.
  15. I saw it worded like: take two and it will not be the third.
  16. Unless you work in a corporate job. Doing your best will keep you stuck forever.
  17. Don't do today what you can leave for tomorrow. Don't do it yourself when somebody else can do it for you. When you feel like working stay in bed until it is over.
  18. No matter how bad things are they always can go worse. Mr Murphy.
  19. Simon Fordman. He does this kind of resurrections from time to time. What I like most is when he makes a mistake he shows it and how to correct after. If you are interested there is also Budget Buildz.
  20. Hi Pat: very nice work. I would replace the antenna. It looks way too thick. Jose.
  21. WOW!. Only way to top this off would be to remove the gas cap and actually smell like gas (maybe you did?) Just for fun, put one of the old grilles against the new ones.
  22. A friend of mine had a Pontiac Bonneville, roughly from the same era.He called it "The white aircraft carrier"...
  23. Wife had a somewhat close "incident": went to the hospital for an unrelated matter, passed out briefly and walked out 3 days later with a pacemaker. Couple friends were admitted for "not feeling really well". They got quad bypasses...
