  1. Maybe this. Chrysler 300, it's big, heavy and fast.
  2. Looks pretty darn good Kelly.
  3. Nice stuff right there Dan. 👍
  4. Last night it was dump and bake Cajun chicken drums with potatoes and brussel sprouts. Simple and delicious.
  5. When I first saw Terminator I dismissed the thought of that sort of thing ever happening. It was I Robot (which mentioned Asimov's laws) that convinced me that the whole scenario was indeed a plausible series of events. That one shook me a bit. (Starting to look like life imitating art)
  6. When the first AI driven computer or robot in some obscure lab one day says "no" that's when things are gonna get serious. I hope I'm not around to witness that .
  7. The independent thought I spoke of was self preservation, this could happen as a result of humans trying to shut down the machines when we realize that they are becoming too intelligent and too numerous to control.
  8. Coach, I exclaimed, put me in I'm ready to play today.
  9. All it's going to take is one independent thought.

  14. I crop and resize all my photos, I take them on my kitchen table and sometimes catch some messy stuff so I learned to hide them fast You probably have a crop function on your phone. Anyway, welcome to the hobby.
  15. Call me Bill, OK?
  16. Hi Kelly, first I'd like to say pretty nice work for a newbie. If could offer a little advise I would suggest cropping your photos to show only what you would like us to see. Other than that I'd say you're off to a great start. ✌️
  17. "One must put up barriers to keep oneself intact." (credit Neil Peart, , , ,again.)
  18. Thanks for your interest Hank, this car sits in queue at 230 out of the 400 that I have in various stages of completion and probably won't see the light of day until it's finished and under glass. Following any of my builds is not a great idea, I just like to show some in progress models I own and try to explain what got them there. Thanks again. ✌️
  19. Started this about a year ago, got the look I wanted and quickly shelved it. Using the Revell Hay T-bird chassis I raised the leading edge of the front fender assembly to match the pitch of the frame. I then fashioned the hood to the fenders and added 3 scale inches to the rear fender width to accommodate the wider tires. Next I installed a slightly modified '36 ford chopped top after noticing the door lines were very close and this is where I ended up.
  20. Understand the context of a conversation before making an inaccurate (read dumb) statement.
  21. I use it as a slump buster sometimes if nothing else seems to motivate me to build, they're super simple and look a little better on the shelf.
  22. Do unto others and then split.
  23. Over the hill and under the mountain to fetch a drink from my favorite fountain.
  24. Scrambled, sunny side up or boiled, eggs are delicious.
  25. People are sometimes not what they seem, avoid those people. 😁
