  1. Man I love that one, the stance is perfect and all the work you're doing to get it there is the kind of stuff I love to see. What you're doing under that Scout can be a tutorial for so many kits with molded on suspension or things that need to be separated and kit bashed and scratch built and so on! I tried to Pro Street one many years ago, but it never turned out quite right. Seeing yours now, I think I should do one more like you are, thank you for the inspiration!
  2. Looking good, love the color! Bodywork turn out nice!
  3. Here's the engine in my sedan version, oh I mean Limousine version, although I'd hardly call it a Limo!
  4. Wow I'm crazy about the way that carpet looks with the piping, very nice!
  5. Sweet!
  6. Now that's some good progress, cool project, can't wait to see more!
  7. Awesome job with all that foil! Love the rims and stance too! Cool!
  8. It looks beautiful! As for that upper rad hose, I usually don't even bother with the kit ones, find an electrical wire the same thickness, strip both ends leaving some wire, then glue one end into the thermostat housing and when dry, bend the wire to fit into the rad perfectly, so much easier, especially for the lower rad hoses, you can brush paint it with acrylic Nato Black if you need to after it's installed. Thin strips of foil or photo etch hose clamps can also be added after if you wish. Love the work so far!!
  9. Looking cool, love those Starliners! Here's what I do when I drill out the headlights, foil the bucket but don't trim the foil, Q-tip the inside and glue in the clear lenses from a parts box or donor kit. Once the lenses are glued in, trim the foil using the clear lens as a guide for your knife, it makes it a lot easier than all the other methods I've tried over the years. I really don't like chrome headlights!
  10. Yeah, that looks really great what you've done so far, can't wait to see more!!!
  11. Great project, love the pictures and explanations as you go, keep it up, cool!
  12. This is a really cool project, love it!
  13. Great rendering, you're an artist!
  14. Cool! You have a lot of patience with all the purple piping but it sure looks cool!
  15. Very nice work on this, hey if you don't have a MoPar decal for the oil filter, what I've done is take my metal edge 6" ruler and cut a thin red and blue stripe from any decal, it's easy to find enough red and blue, then just wrap them around leaving white between them, not totally accurate but it does give just another bit of "wow-ness" to an already WOW build.
  16. That last picture shows the styling that GM should've had! As far as the wheel lips and stance go, they're perfect, I love it!
  17. Another vote to keep the windows, very cool concept there!
  18. Very cool, love the play-by-play, thank you and keep it going!
  19. Wow, that looks very nice! Very nice!
  20. Out of box, some from this box........some from that box, ha ha, well I did compete in a strictly out of box contest once, Audi R8, but MAN was it hard for me NOT to add anything, no wires, no seatbelts, not even flocking!!!! I just can't do it, I like doing things my way, not out of box! Of course I haven't seen a kit of a '40 Sedan Delivery with a flat 12 mid mounted in a box yet, do it YOUR way, way cool!!!!
  21. Wow, that's a really nice Mustang!
  22. That's looking beautiful already, I just love that body style, great color choice!
  23. Just a little tip for wiring that cap, push wire down through one hole and up through another, now one piece of wire becomes two wires and they won't pull out of the cap.
  24. Swiss cheese? Looks like that one's been sitting in a field a bit too long! Can't wait to see it with some "color" on it!
