  1. Well I haven't quite finished thinking it through but I think i might be kind of leaning towards the mach 5 or maybe the batmobile. but seriously in all seriousness I do think that given the proper venue it would be a very close race .
  2. just for arguements sake lets assoume that the race is an endurance race that puts every gadget to use. both have quite a few similar gadgets.
  3. I don't think anyone could go around a corner at 300 mph. and I have never seen anyone pull away from the mach five unless speed goes off course.
  4. I just picked up the full detail batmobile and i have always like speed racer and it occured to me that they came out around the same time then I wondered who would win a race both cars seem evenly matched however the mach 5 is probably much lighter. Your thoughts..........
  5. Holy buckets that was a long time ago.great show though(cartoon).
  6. I find the IRONY of this thread hilarious. The king of rust vs The rust sucks guy. good info though thanks.
  7. Thank you that makes so much sense. does this plastic come in anything besides sheets? like rod and or tube of different sizes.
  8. Dear Chuck ,I mean this in the nicest way possible,YOU ARE A FREAK! I love your build and the fact that it keeps going on . Pretty soon you will have an Austrailian road rat train. But then you would have to convert everything to right hand drive. I wouldn't put it past you.
  9. this is really fun to watch .one question ,do you have many warping issues? I use the regular plastruc and evergreen but sometimes it goes south on me and I could use some pointers.
  10. Very nice . I have always liked that one. those rims look great.
  11. They load up pretty quickly when used dry. so if you want them to last for a long time i would bring a spray bottle full of water or something . otherwise you will have to replace them
  12. I bet it could get up Pikes Peak!

    Car Club Models

Nice work! how long have you been working on these? it seems quite the undertaking and you have done an excellent job recreating the clubs cars.
  14. I am feeling pretty excited about the upcoming year there are a whole bunch of models coming out that interest me and they cover a broad range of subject matter. let us not forget that these announcements are supposed to be first half releases meaning that there is more to come for the second half. I just hope I will finally get my meyers manx .
  15. I like it a lot, that body looks really cool. I can't wait to see how you can screw it up! . are you going with those wheels or just mocking it up?
  16. That is pretty cool lookin' I wish I thought of it.
  17. Don't worry rookie, after you build a few models you will start to have an eye for these things.
  18. looks pretty coo!l is that a monogram 65 vette that you started with?
  19. That build is outstanding . I really like builds that have a lot of detail but don't look over done. also I want to thank you for the history lesson I probably would not have learned about the surfers otherwise. Love the story and Love the model.
  20. I hope they also open up all the gates on the tooling so you can build more than one version
  21. the white one is amt dirt hauler or north american van lines moving truck the other is the carnation promo truck not sure what else they are called you may have to look iin the toy car section. keep in mind that both of those have been modified
  22. That was my Palmer corvette thank you so much for remembering it.I always like trying to turn something decent or at least slightly more believable out of stuff that is not your standard fair, including those toy like semi trucks Mr. Martin mentioned above, I find it fun. another that hasn't been mentioned is the carnation promo trucks .
  23. I think they are lying . a 50 olds and 57 ford i will believe it when i see it. I wonder how the corvette grand sport will compare to the accurate miniatures version. I missed the ed roth 56 ford the first time around so that will be nice . and the chevy pick up with a snow plow will also be cool. I wonder if the 62 vette is diecast based or if it will be based on the 58 corvette tooling. lots of stuff to think about.
