  1. looks good I like the wheels you used.I'm glad you had fun and enjoyed the bonding. So what's next?
  2. I don't think either of us will win as it doesn't appear that our modified cars will turn very well
  3. If you are just going for smoothing out paint the pads are fine. If you are working out some heavy duty custom putty work you do want to have something a little stiffer or you run the risk of a hump just like jbwelda said.I also use those "tadpoles" and I would even recommend trimming them for those hard to reach places.Hope this helps!
  4. I'll race ya .
  5. Makes it really easy to do burnouts doesn't it?
  6. I think you did a great job on this one!It is nice to see rare kits built,I wish more people would do it.
  7. 1977 cadillac seville never got stuck even in the great october blizzard and boy was it fun to drive on ice especially when I lost the rear brakes the front would stop but the rear wheels would still be spinning.good times .
  8. for very small imperfections you can use glazing putty for more aggressive filling you should use a two part body filler like evercote or dynatron .bondo brand two parts do not sand as well . you can find these at your local auto parts store near the paint .hopre this helps .if you want more information on these check out some of the other threads there are tons of them on this subject!
  9. Another great model,I also would like to thank you for showing us how you do those wonderful paint jobs!
  10. I vote for a red interior!also I think the scoop is to big to be painted black maybe some sort stripe combo or a large stripe that goes a couple of scale inches onto the hood .looks good so far !

  23. Well can you add more pictures I can't quite see all the fun you had especially on the chassis.also could you do a tutorial on the use of hot glue it hadn't occured to me to use it as an adhesive for the chrome and I also like the out of the box thinking you utilized by mounting the grille upside down.you should write a book.
  24. My immediate memory is the peterbuilt tow truck and on a seperate occasion the tennesee thunder hauler I think that is probably how i got most of my truck kits because I was often too impatient to save money to buy the more expensive truck kits . and that just reminded me johan kits were a couple of bucks cheaper than amt ,monogram, mpc and revell.at the time they were 5.00 .
