A little about Gregg Hutchins
MR BIGGS replied to Dave Mikrut's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Me and my boy toy in New Jersey 08. As you can see he like sitting on his Big Daddy's lap. He was telling me what he wanted for christmas this year. All kidding aside You know from the bottom of all our heart's we got mad love for you Gregg. Since day one you have been one of the coolest guy's I have had the pleasure of meeting and being able to kick it with, and to be able to call you a true friend. Your friend till the end. MR. Rick it was good seeing you and some of the other guy’s for the second time buddy, and I will promise you it won’t be the last. Bob said I have to return to defend my title next year. Hopefully you can come out to Cali someday so we can return the favor of the hospitality you have shown us. Just let us know when, and we will hook it up and show you around. Your big homies from the West coast.

Scary things about this hobby.
MR BIGGS replied to Phil Patterson's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have never feared the exacto, I just learned to respect it. And when I lost respect for it, this is what happens. It dug in deep almost to the bone. -
Just made this one last night. It's a 67 caprice that should be out and for sale in a few week's.

What I used on mine was the Model Masters decal woodgrain set, you get both shade's of wood and it looks like the real thing knots and all. Good luck Anthony R.

Need ideas for a nice home-built spray booth
MR BIGGS replied to abedooley's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
Thanks ABE. The Rig took me almost a year to complete with all the work that went into it. I have never made a Big Rig before so I think thats what took most of the time, not knowing where every thing went. the paint was around a month and the murals around 2 weeks. -
Need ideas for a nice home-built spray booth
MR BIGGS replied to abedooley's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
Here is the one I built a few month ago. Since I got into building the Big Rig and larger scale I had to up-grade my paint both. The one I had was 20x20x20 and I could only fit 1/24 scale cars in it. so now I got this monster of a booth and can paint almost anything in it. It's 40wx26hx36d. this is why I had to up-grade. This is the trailer to my 300 Big Rig. -
very clean 36. I love that paint job, can't wait to see this one done.

I placed a big order from Arrowhead and got my stuff a week later. I think he had some medical problems in the past that's why alot of stuff did not go out.

MR BIGGS replied to conor1148's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Thanks for the prop's Kevin. But i think he should stick to useing styrene for now it's much easyer. the aluminum and brass is still a few year's away. Here is one I made from brass for my 63 Nova. -
I bought my house fixer upper 20 years ago at 180,000 now it's worth 350,000 and paid for. Its an older 3 bedroom house but im planning on taking it all down, getting a loan and making it 4 bedrooms with a second floor and detached garage/shop that will put it in the half mil range. I plan on living there for the rest of my life so i got to make it work for me.

This is where I get all my pre-wired Distribuers from. I think they are the most realistic looking one's out there. I buy them in bunchs and you cant beat the price. http://www.arrowheadaluminum.com/Distributors.html

Well I don’t really deal with hobby stores but when I got to its only Pegasus hobbies. The best part is they give me 40% off everything so I cant complain. I get all my stuff directly from the manufacturers when I need something we got a 7,000 square ft warehouse full of models and toys where we sell wholesale or on the internet on our ebay store.

Custom Paint Masks???
MR BIGGS replied to Len Geisler's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I think he is talking about for masking on the model car's not for your face. like stencels. -
I take a month long brake from the show's and building every year around this time. I have to re-charge my batteries and get re-motivated. This is the time where I stock up on supplies and just think about what I am going to build for the next year. I got a major show coming up in the first week of June after that it's back to business for me.

That will be cool meeting you. We will be flying into Detroit on Friday and staying the night there. then take that same 45 min ride to the show on saturday.
