  14. I found a nice tach in the Revell Acura Integra pre-decorated kit. I guess it is in the Integra glue kit. It has a shift light and pretty nice details. Here's a picture of mine. It's box stock. I painted the wheels aluminum instead of gold. Hosted on Fotki I'll add pictues of the tach later.
  15. I know it's April, but on August 18, 2012 in Clemmons, N.C. Carolina Kustom Modelers is putting on their annual model show. The 5th Annual NNL Model Car Summer Classic Event 2011. That might give you the time needed to get everything together. Here's the link. I'm considering going this year for the first time. I hear it's a pretty good show. Check it out. http://www.carolinakustommodelers.com/

  21. I absolutely enjoy reading the best selling book of all time the Bible! It's my favorite book!! It reveals something new to me everytime I read it! My other interests are books on the history of the automotive industry, fire fighting, construction equipment and american history. Some other favorite books are The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings. My wife read 1776 and said it was a really good book. I hope to read it in the near future. "Killing Lincoln" by Bill O'Reilly sounds interesting.

  23. Welcome Sean!! Look forward to seeing your large scale builds!
  24. I purchased this S-10 body off of ebay when I noticed the grille on it. Someone posted here a while back about a custom grille for the S-10 in a particular kit. Does anyone have any idea what kit that might be? None of the S-10 kits I have has a grille like this. Could it be from the AMT Sonoma kit? I measured a friend's '98 S-10 grille as I'm ready to build my 1:1 p/u truck. I'll compare those measurements to see how close this grille is the the stock '98 grille. It shouldn't be hard to convert to a stock '98 grille. Here's a couple photos. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Off to the stripper to remove the paint!
