Southern California Cougar Club meeting today. Various 67-70 Cougars and a purple Lamborghini, owned by two brothers who are club members. On the way there, a Nissan R35 Skyline on a flatbed, on the way home, Pictures of the LA skyline from the passenger seat of a 69 Cougar convertible -

Saturday: Passed a really nice 68 Camaro RS hardtop while riding in my friend's Cougar XR-7G, also a really nice red 66 Mustang hardtop going the other way. My friend had his latest flip car parked in his driveway: A Maserati convertible, not sure of year or model but it looked really nice. -

I've seen an Orange Crate body used with the Revell street rod chassis (3-window, 5-window, etc) to make a chopped tudor sedan. -

Chevy Astro. When they first came out I thought they looked dull and ugly. As a Ford guy, I thought the Aerostar was better. Later I owned a GMC Safari, then an Astro. Good family cars, great on road trips. When I sold the Astro, with over 200,000 miles, it would still go 80 MPH all day and get around 22 MPG.
