  1. They’re like really hard vinyl or rubber. They can be trimmed to size. I bought mine from Tower Hobbies.
  2. Cool! Great to hear! Thanks!
  3. I have every issue ever released until this one. Gonna get one soon though. Out of all the issues I have, only one has hard styrene tracks. I think it was the previous issue before this one, in the blue box.
  4. That’s why I need to know on this specific kit. There was one issue that did come with hard styrene tracks. The reason I ask is that paint doesn’t like adhering to that vinyl plastic.
  5. At least they gave you three grill decal choices of grills it never came with! LOL
  6. Hey JT, are the tracks made from hard styrene plastic or flexible vinyl plastic?
  7. I honestly thought that was a real car until I read your description. Beautiful work!
  8. Moluminum.com has all kinds of wheels and tires. He doesn’t have everything on the site so just message him and tell him what you’re looking for.
  9. Archer Transfers rivets are the easiest way to reinstall rivets. The rivets are on a very thin decal backing so a whole row can be slid into place. They come in different sizes and spacing as well. I used them on my 352 110” cab master.
  10. I just bought these yesterday. It’s the whole set. Cheapest I could find the whole set is $34.00 shipped on EBay.
  11. That Supercharger is what made the rear loader Beach Bomb an icon. The rear loader was too narrow for the sponge wheels to grab the sides as it passed through the Supercharger so Mattel halted production on them and turned it into the side loader Beach Bomb which made it wider. That rear loader Beach Bomb remains the rarest, most expensive Hotwheels ever. I think the Spectraflame pink one is the most rare.
  12. Ok, thanks!
  13. Hi, I’m thinking about buying that Zakspeed Capri and was wondering if it’s a curbside or has full engine detail like the Mustang?
  14. I’m thinking about getting this kit, just wondering if it’s a curbside or full detail?
  15. Are the tracks hard styrene or are they made from the flexible type plastic like the original?
  16. Jerry at Modeltruckin.com has the original decal sheet. Jamie Rahmoeller has the brass etch set for it. Moluminum.com it’s not on his site I don’t think. Just contact him through the site.
  17. The main thing I notice on a well built model is when the builder leaves the seam down the center of the oil pan and transmission. I just think it’s a shame that something so obvious and easily fixed was overlooked.
  18. Oh trust me I do! I have End Stage Renal Failure, heart palpitations, Scoliosis in my spine, Osgood Slatters in my knees, severe Plantar Fascitis in my feet, chronic Pancreatitis and chronic Gurd that almost killed me. I meant I wish I could have stayed at 50.
  19. Here’s what the hub looks like. The finished resin copy, far right.
  20. Yes, on Center Point steering the wheel is moved inwards to put the middle of the tire directly inline with the king pins on the axle. This allows the wheels to pivot rather than swing side to side. It was used before power steering came along.
  21. Looks great! One thing I see that is very obvious but easily remedied is the real truck has center point steering which makes the oiler hub stick out. Jamie Rahmoller at Moluminum.com has those Stemco hubs that I mastered. Be easy to paint them and stick them on if you want.
  22. Oh man, you got my hopes up thinkin it was being reissued! I’ve been wanting it for a good while!
  23. Just turned 51 on the 8th. Not happy about it...
