  1. Looking at the exhaust manifold, it appears to be a straight 8 cylinder. Don't know much more about it though.
  2. Unless new molds are made, you won't see any reissues of anything that was based on the W925 Kenworth (Watkins KW, Movin On KW, Alaskan Hauler, Challenge mixer)
  3. Do you know what the cost is per tree? Are the tree requirements (size wise) the same?
  4. Microsol makes a liquid decal film you can brush over old decals to help "renew" them. It would be a safe bet to get some and brush it over the whole sheet, let it dry and then use them as normal.
  5. I recently called Chrome Tech as well and told him I was sending about 300.00 worth of stuff to be plated, most of which is resin. He didn't seem too friendly and told me the same thing, that he doesn't guarantee resin parts. I assured him that the resin has cured for years and that I have polished the surfaces (where i'm able too) with 2000 grit sand paper. Everything is sprayed with clear lacquer before the chrome powder is introduced so to me, it shouldn't matter what the part is made of as long as it's smooth and does not "weep" oil like some resins will do.
  6. Both of those rigs look sharp!
  7. I was sent the email, no replies needed. Thanks!
  8. Does anyone know if Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland has an email address?
  9. You know me, i'm not going to complain about wheels! There hasn't been a kit yet that I wouldn't replace the wheels with some that I made! I hope the Lonestar changes that!
  10. I'm not complaining. I saw in an earlier post in this thread that Italeri changed the rear wheels. I was just stating that they changed the front wheels too. I actually think it looks much better with these new wheels!
  11. Looking at those pics from that German forum, if that truck was built box stock, Italeri changed all the wheels from the original including the front wheels.
  12. That's sharp little firetruck! Did you restore that?
  13. LOL, talk about ironic! "Is there anyone out there that casts a Cargostar cab.....and who's name is Dave........and is a lover of fire equipment?" LOL
  14. Hey Hunter, I replied to your email, did it not make it to you? I could still use the drive shafts if you can part with them!
  15. This may be a long shot but I was wondering if anyone out there has a couple extra sets of the Clint Freeman rubber air bags they would be willing to sell or trade? The part number is TP-42.
  16. That's too cool! Does it actually sound like that or did you add the sound to the video? Very nice work!
  17. Pretty sweet! Makes me want to get back to work restoring my 69 Camaro for the second time!
  18. Must be sombody obsessed with having things chrome plated?
  19. Hey Dave, thanks! You can buy those wheels from Jamie directly or through Sourkraut's website. Jamies email is jlrahmo@aol.com As for the Pete 352 cabs, they will be available through P&P Resins (Porky) very soon.
  20. Yeah, Jamie has been casting my wheels for a couple years now. He has molded and cast every one i've made so far.
  21. Do you mean, am I going to have the cab, hood and sleeper on this Western Dist. truck ,cast? I really want to but i'm not sure if Eric would be interested? I don't think Jamie is interested though as I mentioned it earlier today and he didn't say much? All I can tell you on the Fords is that will be cast eventually! Trust me, I want copies too but i'm still trying to get things for each one to make them as complete as possible.
  22. Those are some cool builds Landon! Glad you joined us here!
