  1. Actually that Allison transmission was mastered by me and cast by Jamie Rahmoller. They can still be bought from him. Www.moluminum.com
  2. A little bird has produced the rumor that there are some all new wrecker kits coming! This is all I know on this at this time. Once I find out more I will let y'all know.
  3. Yes, the 4070A (The very first ERTL truck kit) was molded in red, black, chrome and clear with hard vinyl tires. The chrome parts were all plated over red parts.
  4. Be wary of any sprays like Lysol, Febreeze, air fresheners, etc. they will strip chrome as well!
  5. The chrome was already really thin in that 4070A kit! Every one I built had areas missing chrome and it would darn near rub off with you hands. Those trucks really didn't have a lot of chrome, most was polished aluminum. This is the perfect opportunity to clean up all the mold lines and sprue attachment points and then paint the parts with Alclad chrome. The parts will have a much more realistic appearance.
  6. Just saw these on Tower Hobbies website. One case please!!!!!!
  7. Let me ask my friend, Art on Facebook. He has several of the real trucks.
  8. For some reason, it won't let me see it?
  9. Cool!!!!!! Been wanting that "Der Beetle Bus" for a while now!!! Going to have to snag a couple of those in a couple of the 84 GMC as well!
  10. just like the Little 1/64 scale one that I built.
  11. Being as they already have the licensing for Great Dane how about a 2015 Great Dane spread axle aluminum flatbed?
  12. That is one sharp lookin build! Very nice work!!
  13. Outstanding!!!!!!!! Are you still thinking of offering this as a kit?
  14. That looks like the rear end from an AMT Ford LN series kit. I don't ever remember seeing one chrome plated? (I have built every version of that kit) personally, I would strip it as you would more than likely never see a chrome plated rear axle that is that big in real life!
  15. If you build it just right!.......... http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/151840625582
  16. Thank you for comparing them! I guess I'll just use another MPC set to overlay the ones on this car I have.
  17. I bought two of them from Tower hobbies along with two of the MPC rescue blazer kits. Shipping was free and when you use the promo code 01A15 you get $15 off of any order over $50. So each kit was only right at $16
  18. Still hoping someone can compare the Slixx decals to the kit decals. I'm hoping to overlay the kit decals with the Slixx decals and I'm just wondering if everything will line up.
  19. Everything Joseph makes is top notch! Excellent service, excellent communication, just great all around!
  20. It's not red...its Crimson.
  21. I'm seeing some of the "my ice cream is too cold!" Complaints on here! LOL Never the less, I just bought two from Tower Hobbies along with two of the MPC snap rescue Blazer kits. Free shipping and when you use promo code 01a15 you get 15.00 off any order over 50.00 so each kit was only, just over 16.00! i'll be designing some better five slot mags for Jim Littiken at Micro Nitro to machine out of aluminum for mine! I'll be sure to post pictures of them here once I get them in case anyone else would like to get some as well.
  22. Thanks Chuck, now I'm starving! LOL
