1/35 scale, VERY cool kit with working steering, working rear suspension, working outriggers and functioning wrecker boom. It has been issued several times as a military wrecker and once as a funky civilian wrecker in white with chrome parts.

New Moebius Ford Pick-ups 1971 Ranger XLT AND 1969 Custom SWB
Ben replied to SteveG's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
These would be cool to combine with the AMT camper kit that Model King reissued a few years ago. I'm REALLY excited about these!!!! An all new pickup will be great and I bet Moebius will do an awesome job as usual on it!!!!!!! -
I like this thread! I'm actually looking for a new job right now. I have been in the Recreational Vehicle industry for over twenty years as a master technician specializing in the high end motor coaches and tour busses and I have run three different repair business's. During that time period, I have also built armoured Suburbans for the government, Swat vehicles, mobile command centers and news vans. One of my proudest accomplishments was when I did all the electrical wiring of the semi trailers that the Sony Corporation had built as mobile television broadcasting studios. They were the trailers that broadcast the 2009 Olympics from China. At that time, I was the only person working for the company that could start with an empty electrical bay and the design, fabricate and wire the entire system that included 12 volt, 24 volt, 110, 220 and 480 circuits. Everything had to be nice and neat and accessible. Here's a link to some pics of the trailer and me installing flashing LEDs on the City of San Antonio Police Dept. Mobile Command Center. I did all the wiring on that one as well. http://public.fotki....of-what-i-do-f/

I've come to realize that the things we miss so much is because we saw them through a young persons eyes. It's sad because now I see the flaws and things I never saw as a child when looking at model kits! Always makes me wish I could go back to the days of getting a new model kit and staring at the box art for hours. Then, staying up all night building it, having a blast! So proud the next day as I looked at my progress or completed model!

I knew it!!!!! I knew we had aliens living among us!!!!! What we are seeing here is highly advanced alien technology! It's gonna be light years before we start making things like this!

I made one that looked just like this kit. Then I flushed it! You think this box is misleading, Revell made a 1/32 Kyle Petty transporter snap together kit that included the truck and trailer. The ONLY things that matched the box art were the colors! The box shows an International 9400 tractor with a split axle Featherlite racing transporter trailer. Open the box, you an old Kenworth T600A puling a closed tandem racing transporter trailer. COMPLETELY different truck and trailer!

Do you know how long they will put you in prison for a steal like that!!!!!!!!!! What catagory was it in? I remember back several years ago at about 1:30am, someone listed a Bill Signs Peterbilt for 50.00 Buy it Now! At the time, they were selling for about 300.00 easily. I had a couple already so I went to a couple groups I was on and made a post telling everyone to hurry and get it before it was too late. A few minutes went by and it just sat there. I couldn't help myself, I had to snatch it up!!!LOL -

I guarantee you, that little caboose means more to him than any of us will ever know. That's so awesome that he built it so well and enjoyed it. I'm sure my first models would be horrible compared to what I can do today but I remember being so proud that I built them all by myself. That's a great sense of accomplishment for a young person! -
